Re: This was on AE Facebook page...

I think its still possible it could be a 1/8... Looks like the silhouette might have been photoshopped to "Look" like a 2wd. If you look right above the arms you can't really see the shocks and how it all looks... And it also has squared up the top of the car. I think it could be done up t...

Re: This was on AE Facebook page...

So now if you click on the Area 51 link the doors open and you can see a slight silhouette of a 2wd buggy.

Re: Need help identifying wheels and tires.

The yellow ones are Kyosho Rampage. I am 100% sure of that.

The white ones are RC10 truck conversion wheels. I could be wrong but I actually think they are Pro-Line. Those were used before AE came out with the wide truck arms. The big offset was how we got a wider stance out of a buggy.

Re: Gear charts?

You can use that to compare final drive ratios if you are looking to gear the same as them.

B5 and B5m discussion.....

This was on the AE Facebook page a bit ago. Don't know if it has been posted here or not yet: "Stay tuned to TeamAssociated.com for some big news from the Area 51 Design Works team!" https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151863114136864&set=a.10151779366366864.1073741837.5916262186...

Re: Gear charts?

If you have an IPhone you can download the GearIt app. Not sure what the app for android phones is called but I know there is an app for that platform too. You can even add cars to the list.

Even my motor guy uses the gear it app, :)

Re: *Parts needed to run modern 2.2 rims/tires on your rc10*

I know this thread is mainly about rear wheels but I have a question about the fronts. Since there is nothing special about the steering blocks or bearings that come in Associated's 6801 kit, the wide-track axles are needed simply due to modern wheels' deeper offset and keep the front-end geometry ...

Re: ** What's Old is New Tech Thread **

if you're looking for "new" rpm worlds arms, you definitely don't want to get started on a build anytime soon. LOL!  What he means is, they are hard to find and when you see a set on ebay, expect to pay a premium for them... I would start a wanted thread in the BST sectio...

Re: RPM Rear Hub Carrier Set RPM70172

Just for an FYI.... Customworks makes a rear hub Part #3241 that works very similar to these RPM hubs. Except they use a vertical ballstud mount with 3 positions and they use standard size T3 bearings. Just for when these hubs start to get hard to find, these are a good option and nearly identical d...

Re: RC10 gold pan OIN build

I have not tried to run/drive that setup, however I did try to build it once. With the right combo of stuff it will work... I think its b2 cvd with b4 axles and if I remember right. It works better with Jakes arms than it does dynotech because they are slightly wider and you should be able to use 1....

Re: RC10 gold pan OIN build

Instead of the GT front axles, use T4 front axles to get the width. That way you don't have to drill out your B4 front carriers. ASC7459 Does anyone know for sure if these axles will fit in the B4 steering block? I wouldn't have said it if they didn't fit, As with most people on her...
