Is that home made? That looks like a castor wedge that screws between the chassis and front suspension mounts and adds kick-up when using a flat chassis with no kick-up.

Re: My Scrap-Built Runner

That looks great. How is the flex on the chassis? Re your username: years ago I had my friend convinced that 'LTO' meant the cars couldn't steer to the right.... I've only run a few batteries through the car so far, but nothing has broke or bent. With the chassis screwed to the bulkhead and nose tu...

Did the aluminum arms and steering ever make it into production?

I was hoping someone could ID this tower. I got it with some 10T oval parts I bought from a member on here.

It's flimsy fiberglass and a portion of the bottom between the bulkheads is broken, but it works for me.

My Scrap-Built Runner

I built this a few months ago with the leftover spares I've received in parts lots, and decided to take some winter-themed photos. This is the first off-road RC10 I've built...everything else has been on-road oriented. The chassis is an A-stamp that I cut down, drilled for a Stealth, cut off the mot...

Re: please send me a gift

I've always thought about asking buyers to do the same for me, but I don't really know the stipulations.

Does PayPal not offer protection if the payment is sent as a gift?

I understand they have to make money, but charging us $.50 when someone sends $3.00 is robbery.

Re: Need help - tips for prepping aluminum for powder coating?

It depends on the color and texture of powder being used. If the scratches are somewhat deep, they may show through with certain thin powders that are applied in one coat. If you're using a wrinkle, hammertone, or textured powder, they hide almost all small imperfections. Also, the tub will have to ...

Re: CW Dominator tech question....

I actually asked this question on DODC because I wanted to mount the Dominator Cyclone wheels to the pancar adapters on my Slingshot. Here's the thread: http://www.dirtoval.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37401 I found a pic of a Dom with the BBS pancar wheels mounted, but never received a response. htt...

Re: What wheel size for TQ20's?

I had a helluva time getting the TQ-20 and TQ-70 tires on my SEE's aluminum wheels. I think it's the outer lips that make them so difficult to mount.

I actually used plastic bicycle tire mounting levers because my fingers were hurting so bad. :x
