Re: List any tire compounds you might have

I still have a bottle of that TQ8+ in my pit box from at least 10 years ago. It still smells and works the same as when it was new.

I tried the Trinity stuff, Zip Grip maybe?, in the bingo marker bottle once, but it didn't work like the Racer's Choice.

Re: Any pics of a J-CAR think its called.....................

It could be a J-CAR deisgned for a Kyosho Ultima because the motor plate is angled up, while the motor plate for the RC10 is straight: http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee156/AutoMaggerIX/JCAR_DDS_Tranny_2.jpg http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee156/AutoMaggerIX/JCAR_DDS_Tranny_1.jpg http://i229.p...

Re: front wheel extensions ????

You could buy Bolink or similar on-road front wheel adapters, then use narrow or wide rear wheels on the front to get the right width. I did this on my RC10 and M.A.N.E. Eclipse with rear BSR caps mounted on all four corners.

Simply amazing!

Since those classes seem to have so many rules, it will probably be illegal just like every other innovative idea.

Re: Love it or Hate it!

I like it! I'm going to steal your wing tube idea. Where did you get the graphite tube and is it the correct I.D. for the stock wing wire?

I actually did the same thing to a pair of AE universals with aluminum tubing.

Request: JCAR & TPS Instructions/Parts List

I recently bought a JCAR direct-drive and TPS chain-drive tranny for an RC10, and I'm looking for any instructions and/or parts list.

When my brother and I used to race carpet oval with our RC10's, we broke countless stock front arms, shock towers, turnbuckles, steering arms and hinge pins. 8)

Re: LTO Buggy Of Doom

This thing looks very cool, but... what's it for? Top Speed Runs? Paved Oval? Drags??? This is just my interpretation of what a buggy built for concrete ovals would look like. I remember seeing a 10T in a magazine years ago that had an on-board camera and drove around a concrete oval beside the pan...

LTO Buggy Of Doom

Here's the latest project I've completed. It was inspired by the iconic Lake Whippoorwill Speedway that I could only read about in the magazines in the early 90's. Here's a list of the parts I used: - BME Patriot II offset chassis & nose - Custom chassis braces/nose tubes powdercoated flat black...

My other hobby/job is photography, both digital and 35mm. But the main passion in my life is DSM (Diamond Star Motors) building/driving/collecting...Mitsubishi Eclipse's, Eagle Talon's, Plymouth Laser's. Basically these are AWD modern muscle cars to you old guys. I've owned four Eagle Talon's ...
