Re: Photo album of "Thanks MASAMI ! 一緒に走ろう会" on 3rd May,2009
Thanks for posting that link! Very interesting pics of Masami's cars, especially those two very old on-road cars with clear plastic chassis and the ABC-Factory team car. Never heard of them. Also the picture of Masami's Schumacher Cat XL without body. There are a lot of information there to those th...

Re: Jrx2 prototype???
I feel fortunate that I got to work with the Losi's for so many years. It was fun hanging with Jr. especially when he would move offices or clean his office. I never saw an aluminum proto of the JRX2. Jr. over the years showed me quite a bit of cool stuff but I don't even recall seeing an aluminum ...

Re: Jrx2 prototype???
The only losi prototype I've seen had a graphite chassis. Are you sure this wasn't the RC10 that Jr helped develop? Regards, highwayracer Thanks, but the rumor was definitely about jrx2 and what I heard was that all suspension arms, transmission etc. was made from aluminium. But it might have been ...

Re: lemon-yellow pro-SE
This car is really a beauty and it is a nice idea to make a car from certain colors. If You want to continue this project, try to find A&L steering parts and yellow Pure Tech battery strap that others already suggested. There is also a Team Losi yellow spur gear, 82 tooth if I remember right but...

Jrx2 prototype???
Since all the Losi experts are here, does anyone know answer to rumor that there were in late 80's, that there is or was an full aluminium prototype of jrx2 that was hand made by Gil Losi Jr? The prototype was used to see how the car parts worked together before molds were made. Probably a small tes...

Re: jrx2 versus RC10
This is interesting because everybody knows that own opinion is the right opinion and "evil dark side did this and that..." But somehow I feel now sad when debate about this Asso vs Losi thing. In the 80's and 90's this was "a matter of life and death". But now Asso is owned by C...

Re: jrx2 versus RC10
Situation was similar also in Finland that it was in France and probably all over in Europe. Asso RC10 suffered from too short suspension arms and it was way too heavy. There was a lot of similar RC10 here in Finland that there are in "The official "lightweight" chassis thread." ...

Re: Yokomo Off-Road Car Timeline
Hi there, In response to your question 'Would like to know what problem on 2mm fine pitch belts' , the 2mm pitch belts as opposed to the 3mm pitch belts were quite tricky to set up. The front and rear belt had to be perfectly tensioned or they would strip very quickly. After every 4-5 minute run, t...

Re: Yokomo Off-Road Car Timeline
Hi, Bellow is a Yokomo Timeline of all the Yokomo Off-Road cars that I am aware of. I have heard of other versions (not listed below) such as the 'Craig Dresher' Version but I cannot personally confirm the release of such models. Maybe there is someone out there that can add to the list I have prov...
