MIP 4WD Conversion - put your sunglasses on!

No matter how much I tell myself I'm out of this hobby - I seem to keep finding a way to build things. Yes ... the chassis really is that bright. I stripped and anodized the chassis and shocks a bright orange. Installed a MIP Legends 4WD conversion kit on it. Then I fabricated some front wheel adapt...

Once in a while I take out either an AYK 4WD Radiant or a 2WD Buffalo. But as you know I don't really find much fun in driving the things so a few runs along the beach every blue moon is about it.

Ahhhh! I see now... My bad Spidey - yes you are right. I should have taken a look back and zoomed in at my pictures (or at least gone and taken a look at the car!) instead of being so quick to reply to your post. My apologies. I thought I had put new tires on. I'll have to take new pictures now. Arg...

SO I guess now I'm looking for a new obscure brand to start collecting - or just take a break for a while. :) put some new rubber on there buddy  Spidey - I happen to have one of the largest inventory of AYK cars and part...

AYK/Race Prep Radiant Pro Chain Driven 4WD

I finished restoring this little gem last night. The AYK 4WD Radiant Pro is similar to the AYK Radiant/Maverick/Boost. It is a chain driven 4WD. The Radiant Pro shares not only the same orange colored suspension as the Boost, but the Boost body as well. This is not really a surprise considering that...

Which Body?

Didn't know whether to put this here in in Reader's Rides, so feel free to move... Had some spare parts and bodies... so which would you like to see on this chassis? Hoopty, I believe our chassis are made by the same company as I have never seen nor read about any other company that made a full tub. Your tub most likely is CF. It's just that the terms graphite and CF are used so interchangeably. Most all the aluminum parts are custom (yes, by me) except the whee...

Graphite is more a composite material. Carbon Fiber more of a layered fiber. My RC10 tub here is Carbon Fiber. See the small ripples on the sides? -Alex P.S.. I agree with a previous poster that many of the vintage RC10 parts don't diminish in value if you actually build a shelf queen with other rar...
