Thanks Jeroen,
I will see what I have. I am worried that mounting to the rear of the arms will weaken them too much. I had a pair of works arms snap where I screwed in the roll bar stud once.

Topcat project.
Hi, I am working on a mid motor Topcat project I have nicknamed "Topcat X". I have cut the chassis from aluminium and am currently in the mock up stage. Some things I am playing with are connecting the front rockers with turnbuckle links, new geometry rockers and LiPO saddle packs. One thi...

Excellent stuff! That visco-drive is a nice piece of kit. How did it improve the handling?

No it did not. But yes you will also need the long front tower and longer shocks.

Re: Top Cat Runner with Mods!!!!!
Great Topcat Mark! My Topcat is very similar. It has been a minor obsession of mine for a few years. Like yours mine also has the steering kit, JC Wheels and new shocks. I chose to go with the Schumacher ultra shocks and a works transmission. I was all ready to hit the track in August only to see th...

Re: tamiya made thier own B44
TRF is a dead copy team. they need to change the name into TCF I could not agree with you more 59. I am happy that Tamiya have taken their rightful place among the racing elite. But by doing this the easy way Tamiya have taken everything that makes them great and pissed on it by releasing a xxx/b4 ...

Re: 2010 VINTAGE OFFROAD NATIONALS OFFICIAL THREAD• SEPT 16-
I am of the very firm belief that offering LESS, not more, is the way to work something like this event. I would like to see one motor rule across the board—like 17.5 brushless (no timing advance) or 27t brushed—and 6-round cell or 2S LiPo packs. Then, structure a few classes around that—2wd, 4wd, ...

Egress ball diff. HELP!
I am in the process of rebuilding an Egress runner and I am having trouble with the ball diffs. When I tighten the screws it binds in certain spots. It feels smooth all the way around but stiffens up in one area of the rotation. Because it is held together with three screws around the outside rather...

Have not hit the track yet. Driving around the house I was impressed how smooth and quiet it was with the belt drive and BL motor. I will be heading to the track soon with my dads digital SLR to get some action shots. Will let you know how it goes. It should be pretty quick!

Re: Before and After
This is my contribution. A Schumacher Cougar 2 basket case. Added powder coated chassis, pro shocks, optional saddle pack strap and black tranny side plates. Not to mention a bucket full of NIP parts. http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h246/8rad/Cougar%202/IMG_08181.jpg http://i66.photobucket.com/alb...
