Re: Fitting 2.2 inch rim to the 870c

Ok, just wanted to update everybody on this 2.2inch saga for the 870c... Jason sent me the rims as mentioned above, deep offset rears provided identical track as with standard rims - perfect! Fronts were the shallow rims similar to the 91 works YZ10, this reduced the front track by 8mm in total - p...

Re: Optima Mid Old is New

I just finished up the drawings for the arms I plan to use. I used some vintage Lazer ZX arms (Thanks to Aaron) and took the basic measurements from them to create these. I may change the fronts but overall I am happy with how they will turn out. Hopefully I can get to the machine shop to run them ...

Re: Is there a PDF manual for the YZ10 (870c) online and not the Works '91 or 870c version?

Sorry to resurrect this. I am new to the forum as I am getting back into my old RCs I found in the attic from when I was a kid. My fav was the YZ-10 which I would have bought some time around 88/89 since I didnt even have my drivers license yet (I remember my dad driving me back from the hobby stor...

slazzaro wrote: Mon Nov 01, 2021 10:33 am Hello everybody! Does anyone know if there is a source for 879c driveshafts or something adaptable?
What would be the part number, for fronts and rears?
Thanks in advance!

Keep an eye out for JC Racing. As there looking into making replacement Cva's for the old Yokomo 4wd's.

Yokomo axles are unique with the set screw flats and no other way to attach hubs. A common thing is to switch to kyosho axles and a hex conversion. I could be off but I think for 870c, the axles needed are 68 and 73 mm bones. Kyosho really loves their parts and the price reflects that. There are a ...
