yeah, once I was able to look at the pics up close, they look pretty concentric, so some kind of wheel hub/axle adapter. maybe some kind of pan car? I figured it out! p.s. you will notice in the above pictures that there are two black ball cups used near the servo saver, know that I have since swapped these out with white ones.
