Re: VRC Pro Review - Game Play

Was just watching this RC documentary: nYrEScetFkU At 6:07 he says he played the Silver Dollar track on VRC-Pro many times. I went looking to see what VRC-Pro is. It's a free RC sim with IFMAR tracks. I have Realflight simulator for Heli's, figured I'd try this, it's free. While it's downloading I f...

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Pan and Plastics - #7065

For the stuck flywheel, I'm going to use a battery terminal/windshield wiper puller, other RC sites say that's the way to go without scratching the parts, or harming the front bearing. Will be here Wednesday. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/W/MEDIAX_792452-T1/images/I/61EE-PHnwAL._AC_SL1000_.jpg T...

Back to #1. The new 66T gear, brake disc, and hex adapter for slipper inboard hub. https://i.imgur.com/zMJsEoS.jpg Replaced the old S3003 throttle servo with my last NOS S3003. https://i.imgur.com/kIhGeX4.jpg Spur gear and brake back to new condition. https://i.imgur.com/l7oarlP.jpg https://i.imgur....

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?

To me, that's crazy that they used the same model numbers for the Rx, and Servo, even though they have a different pin layout. Any change in design should've been denoted with a model number change, weird stuff. Thanks guys! I would think so as well. But they did change case color, plug color and d...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?

So are you going yo stay with that Futaba receiver and servo? It all works, has the same wire order in the plugs, etc. I really want to go back to the Airtronics Rx that matches the radio and servo's that I bought with the kit in '96. Hoping to get the pin out right this time. The blue receiver and...

Re: (2) RC10GT's - Black Pan and Plastics - #7065

Really appreciate it klavy69 , I'll be sure to keep up on this in the future. Was able to get the servos in, and the new receiver mount installed on #2 this evening. https://i.imgur.com/ZC4Fdij.jpg I have (4) RC's that need the Rx battery pack, I have none left. Will probably go with the era correct...

I had not heard of fogging oils, found the Sta-bil.

What's the latest short term storage product, for After Run?

Thanks @klavy69

Re: RC10 Gold Pan - C stamp?

Just tested the BEC in the Rooster, as juicedcoupe mentioned, and as he said there's no need for any other power source. Thanks for that!! https://i.imgur.com/LCPQ6Oc.jpg That must be what killed my Rx, voltage in the battery port and then the BEC power from the Rooster. Now I need to figure out the...

Received (3) NOS Futaba S3003's for the stock GT, #2 build today. $21 shipped, incredible! https://i.imgur.com/6PDptVJ.jpg Little box dust on these but otherwise fresh as can be. https://i.imgur.com/l6Nrzk6.jpg I was always told to store my nitro cars with After Run in the engine. https://i.imgur.co...

I need to solder the JST adapter to the Rooster plug, for the BEC. Can't figure out how to get that off without ruining anything.

I don't see the blade slot in the blue one. They look the same to me, though not sure why the blue or what that's about.

Frankentruck wrote: Sat Dec 09, 2023 6:39 pm That blue one looks like you don't need to convert the Rooster. Red is the middle wire just like Futaba. But your current servo would need to be converted.

I had heard that after 2002 Airtronics/Sanwa was very similar to Futaba, wonder if this is a newer Rx.
