I'd like to find a set of adapters for the Clod to Blackfoot conversion....The Big Bear stuff is getting pricey.

Re: I have an idea...

Congrats Scott! That is awesome! Just be aware that they are slow getting the prizes out. You have to stay on them if you ever want to receive it. I won Readers ride of the month back in APR 10 with this: http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee84/SFC_K/HPI%20Flux/JeffsSprint.jpg It took almost a year...

Re: I have an idea...

That car looks amazing congrats on making it in the mag. I don't know what one of your builds I like best Thanks, I appreciate the comment! I didn't even know it made it until the mag was out... (and they never sent me any Car Action decals...) :( (Oh, well..) I'm honestly pretty happy with how it ...

Re: Sick new Tamiya Hornet release

I think Lady Gaga called Tamiya, she wants her look back...or was it Katy Perry? Or Hello Kitty? :? I'm still trying to get over the " SICK " new release thing.... (sorry, someone had to say it....) It kind of brings the meaning of the word back full circle... Seriously, to e...

Thanks!

I didn't really do all that much. Most of it will be 40+ year old Cox & 20+ year old Nikko parts with a pinch of HPI...the rest is just spare time.

It won't be a practical build, but it'll be different.. :D

Re: Thinking outside the box...

Don't those front tires need some inserts? Now it looks like you will be running on the sidewalls... :? Good catch. I've still got to find something that'll work. I was lucky the DS tires could be salvaged, the previous owner was really into super glue. What was left of the DS stuf...

Re: Ultima Project

If you can find a Triumph trans, it's an easy mod...mine's been nearly bullet proof for years. The bolt pattern is exactly the same as the Ultima's. The only change needed is a simple spacer plate. The belt trans is smooth as butter...I run mine with a single belt vs. the dual... never a problem.
