I just realized - how did you get the rear wheels mounted so that they will work with the Tamiya wheels? Fronts I assume you just used the appropriately sized bearings. I like the Pro XL suspension parts on the Turbo's aluminum chassis...that carbon fiber just sends it over the top.

You should ditch the Ultima gearbox and try to find a Triumph belt drive trans....w/minimal mods, there will be no more problems with finding spur gears!

I love the brought back to life kind of builds!

Any classic Ultima build is pretty cool, but if you want to go beyond a typical buggy...
