Re: In progress - RC10 scorcher

I just realized - how did you get the rear wheels mounted so that they will work with the Tamiya wheels? Fronts I assume you just used the appropriately sized bearings. You could also pick up a set of Blackfoot/Monster Beetle to RC10 rear wheel adapters for pretty cheap on e-Bay. CRP, JG, HPI, &...

Re: Panda Danny Thompson Stadium Racer

That was my favorite Panda. It seems like everything they built was based on the same chassis. I remember the stock car was identical other than the body & tires. (I've got the stocker's tires on a Cox Baja Bug.) I always thought the scale stadium truck phase should have caught on way sooner..(l...

Re: If it isn't orange, is it still a Charger?

I love the retro stuff! :D ....Let's see more builds like this!

Hmmm...my Dual Sport still looks kinda boring with it's Mustang body...

Here's a little Mo' MoPorn for inspiration:

Re: **TOTAL RECALL**

Wow! What a cool story! I think the resto speaks for itself. One of the nicest MB's I have seen! 8) Thanks! I've seen a ton of really nice ones out there. I was just fortunate enough build one that was a little different than most...I guess technically , it's more of a Bugfoot than Monster Beetle. :D

Re: **TOTAL RECALL**

That is just fantastic! The vinyl roof is a super touch! Thanks! ..but I wimped out on the rag-top. I couldn't quite get the vinyl to conform to the curvature of the roof as well as I had wanted. I needed to order a new parts tree for a set of wiper blades, and decided it would be much easier to ju...

Re: ULTIMA FULL CARBON

Lookin' good!

I like the Pro XL suspension parts on the Turbo's aluminum chassis...that carbon fiber just sends it over the top. :D

You should ditch the Ultima gearbox and try to find a Triumph belt drive trans....w/minimal mods, there will be no more problems with finding spur gears!

Re: THE FROG GEARBOX PLATES OF CARBON

That looks really cool. I think the blue looks good. It adds just a little color to the chassis. X2! :D We are both VW fans and usually have the same input on stuff. Everyone should listen to us. Yep, I agree. (It's hard to ignore the VW influence on most of my stuff...) But seriously, ...
