Re: JRX Pro ebay find, runner rebuild

She's a runner now. The electronics layout isn't pretty, mostly becuase I have the battery adapter cable and lipo voltage monitor that i use to run on my older electronics. The Futaba ESC is pretty damn nice. need to do some swapping of tires and such before I run it on a track. I found that JC Raci...

Re: JRX Pro ebay find, runner rebuild

Few small updates. I ended up purchasing a ebay lot earlier which includes a full LXT, some XX and XXX parts and chassis and what I hope is a JRX2 chassis as well as a load of parts so excited to see that come in this weekend. I ended up getting my carbon towers from Vintage R/C. I bought all 3 JRX ...

Looks sweet! How are you mounting the batteries? I just did a design for mine to mount a single shorty lipo if you need inspiration.

Looks nice! Did you do the chassis yourself or have someone machine it for you?

JRX Pro ebay find, runner rebuild

Friday I finally got my new project in. The previous owner must have really liked Miller. https://i.postimg.cc/DSQMfQDG/efafafafa.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/v132fYGH/efeaefefea.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/5XWrMKP1/ergervaewe.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/1fqd21rJ/rgrwgawffvas.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/kVnh263p...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread

Starting working on assembling the mini LXT. Going to need to rework the front and rear hubs as there isn't enough meat on them to be durable at the ball stud holes. But its coming out pretty good. I have an idea for the rear axles, hopfully the lhs has some of the parts i need. Also seems that the ...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread

Damn, I guess I'll go with my other option, and just buy some 2mm nylon standoffs and cut them down.

Re: Losi XX4 Modern Racer build

Looking good man! What did you do about bearings with those rear hubs? isn't the 22-4 metric?

ps: if you end up looking to sell any of that older stuff xx4 let me know, looking to use my xx-4 again and could use some stuff. would be nice to put some threaded shock on it.

Sweet, I was about to order some 2-56 nylon nuts to see if they'd work, I guess this answered my question.

Re: XXX-NT AD2 eBay find

Does anyone know of any modern axle conversion methods for the AD2? I've found some that use the XXX-SCT parts but those are hard to find now as well. I'm just beginning my research now but figured I'd post here to see if anyone has ideas or has had recent success converting to front and rear hexs....

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread

Got a 2nd JRX2 finally and quickly assembled it into JRX-Pro configuration-ish. I printed stuff at my fastest settings and well quality and durability suffered a bit and I broke a rear arm on shake down. I'll try again soon. https://i.postimg.cc/Wh7myswX/IMG-20220915-202149041.jpg https://i.postimg....

Re: Losi XX4 Modern Racer build

^ Retro RC - I believe these are Tough Racing or Bando belts. I am using this Rusti Designs front aluminum bulkhead. I am so happy I ordered it when I did, as they are now going out of business, and all parts are sold out. It is very similar to the Trinity unit. I realized that I had the carbon ste...

I don't have enough posts to see the FS forum but I'll take one, I should be at RCM on Thursday barring an unforeseen late work day.
