Re: TC3 diff parts - compatiblity?

My suggestion would be to file in the flat spot into the diff halves instead it'd be easier and you'd only have to do it once and be able to use both types of diff rings.

Re: 6 gear trans article (June 89’ RCCA)

One of the things I appreciated most from this article was the clear explanation of what and why the aftermarket parts were created for. For instance the long Trackmaster diff shaft, one of mine has it and I yes of course the longer threaded end makes simple clear sense but the need for the screw o...

Re: 6 gear trans article (June 89’ RCCA)

It's a good reminder that Team Losi used to be just an aftermarket parts supplier. Still feel weird to see a giant Team Losi decal on an RC10 though. It's interesting to read, a lot more effort was needed back then to properly rebuild a tranny, most stuff now you just need to assemble it, no filing ...

BTW if anyone has a Mini B and a food scale, could you measure the f/r weights preferably in grams?

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread

Mid motor? I hadn’t thought about doing that to one of these minis.. Correct! Unfortunately you can't swap the top shaft in this transmission as easily as you can on the original LRM transmission so it's running an old Mamba mini motor in reverse. I really wanted to try it with the dynamite motor b...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread

The mod version worked fairly well with the proper transmitter settings. Still need to figure out the traction rolling issue, might need to put more spacers inside the shocks and fool around with the front camber link positions. The major mod is on myself, I need more practice, driving a car with th...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Got a Team Orion SV2, Speedworks Caliber, and a old Green Machine 1. I actually made a offer on these about a month ago but it was declined. They never did sell and the price dropped to the same as my original offer, so I decided to get them. Screenshot_20221208-133733_Gallery.jpg Also got this Wih...

Great looking GT!

Not sure what bearings that wheel uses. Losi uses the same bearings as AE as far as I know.

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread

I tested it out on Thursday and it wasn't too bad. The sprint tires didn't work on the grey carpet nearly as well as they did on the black carpet. I instead went back to the stock step pins in the rear and kept the front proline wedges. Traction was actually quite impressive. My main issue was power...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

@ RogueIV , if this was the one on eBay, I nearly pulled the trigger on the lot myself. Reason (or rather Christmas bills) restrained me. I don't know if it was on Ebay or not but I got this off a user on RCTech. It was kind of a impulse buy, I probably shouldn't have bought it but... On another no...

A unicorn arrived last night https://i.postimg.cc/GhH7sJLX/IMG-20221202-100009436.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/4482dFgK/IMG-20221202-100045485.jpg Came with a few Bodies inducing two XX-4 Bodies in the same livery. I immediately put one on my XX4. There's also almost enough parts to make another convers...
