Re: A good day at the fair HPI RS4-2
Wow! It looks like you have every upgrade known to man on that!
Looks very sharp though! What years were these cars built? I haven't been able to find much reference material. Most is for the RS4 3.

Re: A good day at the fair HPI RS4-2
Thanks for the manual link 'timbo...and for the parts offer Bill. I started putting this together the other night and I discovered that of the few assemblies that were begun (3) there were at least 3 mistakes. Wow, this guy was at least smart enough to stop before he trashed the kit! He did empty th...

Re: i want...
Way to go! Those are cool. My neighbor is really into them. I had a Jeep Wrangler and he was always telling me about the places he could go that I couldn't. Still, I'd hate to get hit in one of those.
Here's another friend messing around last summer:

A good day at the fair HPI RS4-2
I haven't had much time to do anything RC related lately. We have a new puppy which I'm sure some of you know about. Also, I've been preparing to sell stuff at a swap meet with a buddy of mine. Well the big day finally arrived yesterday and we went to the swap meet and froze our asses off! W...

Re: Is this worth saving?
In this country it's now just called "Super Clean" now. Thanks for the tip Rick. I have tried the stuff and on some paints it doesn't seem to do anything. I will try on this body and see how it comes out.

Re: Is this worth saving?
Yeah, I hear you. I have another very nice Blackfoot that is getting the resto treatment. This one is more or less an experiment. What you seen in the pictures is the result of several days of work with brake fluid and oven cleaner. This thing had four or five coats of enamel on it. I've had varying...

Re: My new Ultima
Quick update. I kind of slotted the rear body mount holes because they were cracked, and because the body was decent but had been badly brush painted yellow on the inside I decided to respray it then added a white undercoat to brighten it up. I sacrificed the decals and scrubbed a lot of overspray o...

Here's my favorite one so far: The body is not my work, just making do until the weather gets decent and I can paint again. Eight more in the pipe ![Shocked ](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)

Re: HPI RS4MT
bearickster got a used one from another memberjust weeks ago. I hope he sees this threat. Unfortunate for HPI 4wd trucks were banned and no new class was ever put up for them I've seen people say they were banned before. I hope this doesn't sound ignorant but what were they banned from and by who? ...

Re: How to make white parts white?
I've used Soft Scrub to good effect. It's made for cleaning stains out of tubs and sinks. It has bleach in it so use it safely.
