Re: First Ultima Ever!
LosiXXXMan - I didn't think it would be an easy fix. What does LW stand for? So, Triumph and Pro-X are drop-in, but both have some issues. I like the stock Ultima one better than the later ball diff. Thanks for the help.

When JayDub says throw a stealth in it and be done - will a RC10 stealth fit into an Ultima or am I misunderstanding?

Re: Ultima Wheel Conversion for HPI Chrome 5 Stars
Mr. Ed is correct, I put the picture of rears. Here's my question: If I want to put these on the front: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXXSA0&P=7 I want these specifically to match the rears. What else do I need? It is a Pro XL and I have Andy's arms I will put on it. As al...

Re: Ultima Wheel Conversion for HPI Chrome 5 Stars
I do see where Tower sells the adapter for these. I have questions about the fronts: So, you can buy these (adapters for the front): http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXN055&P=V Do you also need these (washers)? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXN060&P...

Re: Kyosho Assault
They were fun. One of my friends had one. They were unbelievably fast when bashing with all the other 80s electric cars. But, it was almost like a rocket put on a too small frame. It was back heavy and would tilt up. It also broke often and went through tires - not to mention the noise. It's basical...

Re: Installation guide & tips: Optima belt conversion
Can't you just use standard Optima Mid gears and belt?
The response here on this Optima blogs talks about it:

Andy's Front Arms on Ultima
I got a pair of used Andy's A Arms for the front of my Turbo Ultima. Right now I have the stabilizer set on the front, I assume this needs to come off if I go with the Andy's arms. What about the adjustable tie rods? They will be short, correct? What kind would work? Thanks for the help.
