Re: Optima Mid RERE
I cancelled my AMain preorder after about the third email asking if I wanted to keep waiting. RPP delivers again! This arrived today. With an added bonus I hadn’t heard about, you can paint/decal it as an Turbo Optima Mid, it comes with an extra decal set and black wing. 766722F6-910B-40FC-9B41-3C8E...

Devastating. Rest easy, Jim.

Hesse/TTR Clodbuster
I sold my Powers/JPS Clod a few years back, and I miss it. JPS is out of business so when Hesse Machine offered a run of aluminum Clod axles at the end of 2018 I had to get a pair and build a new Clodbuster. I opted for straight axle housing at the rear. The chassis is a Thunder Tech Ripper. TTR als...

Re: Bigfoot! Powers Clodbuster
Awesome history there Dan! I'd love to be part of a full Clod class! At the vonats, I was the only Clod in the MT class the year I raced, but it was a blast. I totally destroyed my Bigfoot body that weekend. For the track, a lexan body is a must, and don't spend much time on it, cause it's gonna be ...

Re: Bigfoot! Powers Clodbuster
I really like that classic body look. I tried to fit my original clod body back on my "clod", but the suspension hits under the hood. Plus I'm paranoid about damaging it now. Look closely at my wheel wells. I cut them out, like on a full sized mt. I tried to keep it as subtle ...

Re: Bigfoot! Powers Clodbuster
Bumpity bump! Well, the truck has continued to evolve. It now has JPS axles and a hard body. I've kind of made what I feel is the ultimate Clodbuster. Powers chassis, AE shocks, JPS axles with TTR CVDs and ball diffs, Tecnacraft wheels, Chevy hardbody with APM roll bar. It's still got the SuperRoost...

Re: Paris attacks
Melvin, I really appreciate everything you have said, it helps to reinstill a little of my faith in humanity. Regardless, history will inevitably repeat itself. There are forces on both sides fighting to ensure that happens. Yeah, unfortunately we never learn our lessons from history. Seems that al...

Re: Paris attacks
Seriously Rod, your numbers are based on videos you've seen of the refugees? According to the UN, there are 4,289,792 registered Syrian refugees. You must be watching videos 24/7. But the real numbers are: 40% under age 11. 76.6% women and children under the age of 17. I'm no mathemagician, but I th...

Re: Paris attacks
Actually, the refugee issue is a huge problem for IS. When you're trying to build your Caliphate and people are fleeing in droves, it doesn't make you look very good. As far as it being some kind of great plan for them to infiltrate us, why would they bother going thru the long waiting period to gai...

Re: Monster Beetle
I think it looks great! Question - did you use a brush to paint around the windows? I found my hand just isn't steady enough to do it by hand - is there a trick to getting it done neatly? Yeah, I did it by hand. If you look up close, I'm not exactly pin straight on my lines. I got them "close ...

Re: Monster Beetle
Very cool, that's the best feeling ever.... To relive the childhood. Glad your having fun with it. I assume it has the upgraded dogbones like the frog did, are you seeing much else changed? I never built one back in the day, so I can't say for sure. As far as I know, it's got the upgraded dog bones...
