BORIS 6x6x6 Bullhead/Clodbuster project
I'm not normally one to post projects or progress shots, as I tend to get projects put together pretty quickly. This one is definitely different. I've wanted to make a 6x6x6 Clod/Bullhead for years. I happened to have 3 complete Clod gearboxes in my stash, then I happened upon a Sassy Chassis (as I ...

Re: Dec. 8th in rock and roll history
I didn't realize that Dimebag and Lennon died on the same day. Kinda like how Cobain and Staley also died on the same day, 8 years apart, the day grunge died.
Also crazy to think that not only did Darrell and John die on the same day, but they were both murdered, shot dead by psychos.

That S&M is slick!
Here's my latest. It's a 2005 Kappa K26. Kappa was an incredible retro BMX company out of Kalamazoo MI from about 1999 till 2009. I just got it built up with lots of trick parts.

Re: RC10 Dually
I think the body and chassis wouldn't be too hard to make, but the TMS wheels and tires might be another story and in my opinion those were the coolest parts of the whole kit.

I had a TMS dually a few years back, I don't think I have any pics of it though.

Re: The BMX (and other bikes) thread
I realized I hadn't posted any pics of my chopper since I finished it up a month or two ago. First, I took it apart and had the frame powdered candy blue. The shop did an insanely good job, it looks like a really, really good paint job, not powder. I put a slick on the back, off a horse racing buggy...

Re: RC4WD Trail Finder 2
Thanks guys. I really dig it. It is a TON of fun. At work today all I could think about was that I wish I was going for a nice walk thru the woods or down by the river with it. Jeff, the rubber mirrors came off of ebay. I had to add the reflective part, I had some chrome decal material in my decal b...

Re: RC4WD Trail Finder 2
rc crawlers are a lot of fun, at least I think so. It's a very relaxing, or leisurely form of rc. Like going on a Sunday afternoon bike ride. I definitely prefer the scale crawlers to the wild looking buggies and tube framed ones.

RC4WD Trail Finder 2
I'd been thinking about getting a Trail Finder 2 since they came out, finally I bought one. All it took was a hiking trip up a creek at a nearby state park and I was like, man a scale crawler would be so much fun on a hike like this! So here it is. It took it out for its first run today. It's mostly...

Re: GOVERMENT SHUTDOWN!!!! ARE WE GETN THE SHAFT OR WHAT!!!!
We're very close to just that. We've already got the NDAA where they can lock up an American citizen without being charged, indefinitely. We all saw the martial law situation in Boston after the marathon incident. Look at the way the Occupy protests were broken up. There are parallels to the forming...

Re: GOVERMENT SHUTDOWN!!!! ARE WE GETN THE SHAFT OR WHAT!!!!
What about the welfare on the other end of the income spectrum? What about corporate welfare? The stuff you guys are complaining about is a drop in the bucket compared to the handouts and breaks the super rich and the corporations get. But this is how propaganda works. Create a scapegoat. Divide and...
