Re: TRX-1 Scott Montgomery Replica
I would buy at least 3 if it were the proper mold. Don't waste your time on the TBG, the blue tape on the bottom is to try to get it to conform right as it flairs out. Also there are a lot of dimples in the lexan, poor window lines. All around junk but good enough to test colors, etc. so I don't scr...

Re: TRX-1 Scott Montgomery Replica
Well I used a TBG body for mock up and to test some colors to see how close I could get.

Re: traxxas history?
With the popularity of the slash I would like to see Traxxas build a competitive car/stadium truck. The TRX-1 is one of my favorite cars and I love the looks even with the wierd body. Hell in 1991 if you had a TRX-1 and a Blue Eagle you were ahead of a lot of others. I wonder why they disappeared fr...

Re: traxxas history?
The TRX-1 was the only competitive vehicle they ever made, maybe besides the early Blue Eagles that were out before the JRXT and RC10T.
Everything else is junk plain and simple, don't even get me started on the Slash thats making the local race seen almost unbarable.

Kyosho RB5 SP
I just picked one of these up. Any tips on setup or must-do mods before I hit the track? Also any good base setups to use?

Re: Ducati Riders?
I rode Kawi's for a number of years, and in fact still have my 06 ZX10R. I thought about buying a Duc but then I got an MV, too much maintence and the thing would run hot ALL THE TIME! Unfortunately she's gone but I would like to get a new 1098 here soon or the new Aprillia http://i712.photobucket.c...

Re: Quick shiny cvd tip
The local "team" drivers at my track use a drop of loctite and sharpen the set screw so it digs into the pin more. So far I've went over a season with no screws backing out.

Re: RC10 B4 Stealth Build
Ruffy, If you find any tips/tricks as you finish this up let us know in this thread or he B4 thread in the tech section. I really like my B4 with some of the mods I have done. I do want to get a set of the V2 shocks when they come out. I also need to get a new ESC and motor as the GTB just can't com...

Re: Brushless
I just switched over to LRP SXXTC (Durango) and a SXX in my B4. I also run the X-12 motors, and with the timing advance its definately faster than my GTB/Ballistic setup I had before.

Re: Temps for electronics?
There's something wrong, with a 19t pinion its undergeard no matter what spur your running. I would run a 7.5 Novak with a 78 spur and 24 pinion no problem. How smooth is the driveline? That much heat it sounds like something has to be binding to be getting those temps. I don't have any experience w...
