Yes , it had a Javelin body but I didn't like it.
I swapped it for the new body & decals

My Optima finally finished

G'day guys, Heres my optima that I just finished. Has a belt drive conversion, new shell (thanks Darryn) I didn't like the driver figure so I used a Tamiya Brat figure with a Tamiya Wild One driver head & Tamiya Pagero wheels. I also had all the metal bits gold plated, just for a bit of bling to...

Optima wheel question

g'day guys I have a problem with my recently restored Optima. I can't seem to get the wheels right, ie: since the axle & drive washer need to be dome up to a piont where they bind? on. I either don't do them up enough, or they are too tight & seem to bind the wheel bearings. Is there some tr...

Sand Rover

Finally finished my Sand Rover. I got this as an ex toy shop display so it's never been used. Thats about to change. Should be lots of fun on the beach, just need to find time to put some electrics in it. Hopefully next weekend. If anyone in Australia has the metal upright to hold the windscreen on,...

First pic is what I started with.

Re: Another Aussie Brat

The decals on my Brat in the background are originals from 1985 or whenever the Brat was first released. For some reason Tamiya didn't include that colour scheme with the re release

Another Aussie Brat

Just finished this Brat for a friend of mine , he hasnt' seen it yet so I hope he likes it. Painted in Tamiya Silver Leaf with Gunmetal for window surrounds. I think I might detail the rear tray a little more before I give it to him. Just have to convince him come to the next vintage day to flog the...
