Re: Option House or duratrax shocks?
Also, the bore (interior of the shock body) is usually visually rougher. The Kyoshos will have well finished smooth bore. I have seen some duratrax that looked horrible .-Jeff

Need help identifying these parts, tub chassis....
Just picked up this car the other day. I know it is a YZ-10, and that it has the fybre-lyte tub chassis, shock towers, and upper plate. But I am looking for specifics, such as model, type year maybe-anything to get a better idea of what it is. Thanks in advance for your help. -Jeff

Edinger box...
I was cleaning out the garage the other day, and found an old RC10 Edinger Ave. box (the address is printed on the box). It is pretty beat up, but complete. Just wondering if it is worth anything (I know it may be a silly question). Thanks-Jeff

Re: PLEASE Help me with this Kyosho...aaaahhhhh!
I believe he stated that the front belt does not spin backward when he spins the front wheels backward. I think the front diff assembly is propably the culprit. I would check the diff outdrives for set screws (as previosly stated) to see if it has a gear diff, and to see if the outdrives are tight. ...

Re: Lazer ZX build...
The shocks that I have came with an aluminum ball (bushing) installed in the shock cap for mounting. They were not loose, so I decided I would try them to start. I may later switch to the ZX5 pieces (if they fit)as they came on the parts tree with the wing mounts ( if memory serves ).

Re: Lazer ZX build...
Thanks. Yeah, still no reply from the Kamtec guys. I guess they don't want to sell any product-awesome business plan  . I decided I didn't want to use the servo mount, so I ran the servo close to the belt and drilled and counter sunk new holes in the chassis. As for the wing mount holes, no th...

Re: Lazer ZX build...
Yes, those are th ZX5 brackets. They are cheap, and come on a parts tree with a bunch of ball links and stuff. I believe I paid less than $5 USD .

Re: Lazer ZX build...
Thanks for the tip! Anyways, its update time. The car is nearly finished, all I need to do is get a new body and undertray, and go do some testing! The body I currently have on the car is an HPI body, I bought it used (I like more "complicated" paint jobs) but know nothing else about it. I...
