Re: RC10 Project Period Incorrect
Thanks Mr. ED, might try that. I like the way these Jammin tires look on these wheels. Will go with 3 piece wheels in the front too. They were a real tight fit on the MIP CVD's for some reason. I need to find a rear bulkhead now. It's one of the few things holding me back. I want to use this Pro bod...

RC10 Project Period Incorrect
First RC10 build from scratch using misc. parts. RPM arms and ends, MIP tranny, CVD's, Duratrax shocks. I Found the chassis on the Bay but it's in worse shape than I thought and will probably be replaced since most of the other parts on the buggy are new. It's starting to come apart at the front. An...

Re: Tyco Turbo Hopper
Had this back in the day and loved it. I remember when I first bought it, I had to take it back to Toys r Us cause someone had taken out the the 8 AA rechargables and battery charger.

Re: MRC MT10 & Futaba FXT-10
Thanks for the info. I think I will add those RC10 parts to the diff. And you're right, it does seem like a tough, strong RC. These types of trucks really arent my thing so I think it may end up for sale/trade soon.

MRC MT10 & Futaba FXT-10
Got this MRC MT10 from a friend a few years ago. I actually helped build and paint it back in '95. Hardly used, it has virtually no scratches on it just a little dust and some old, double sided, sticky foam used as servo tape or something. I took the tranny off for rebuilding. Not sure what to do wi...

Re: Tamiya Buggy Champ - finished pics 8/22/09
Nice work. I was going to suggest lettering the tires but I forgot Tamiya took off the "sand blaster jr." off the fronts for some silly reason.

Re: Hot Trick Hot Shot I think
Nice find. That cleaned up nicely, looked like crap in the first pic. Hot Trick Stuff is really starting to grow on me. Didn't really like it back in the day.

Re: Poor Mans Sand Scorcher
rpphobby.com has Blitzer Beetle bodies brand new for cheap. You can get all parts including driver figure for about $50.speedemall wrote:sweet build. I'd be all for doing one but the beetle bodies are almost $100 if you can even find one.
