I remember the Double Dare coming out as the competitor to the Clod Buster. USA1 came later. The Big Brute and Hi Rider Vette were more the competition for the Blackfoot, Mud Blaster, Monster Beetle, etc... Oh yeah, I have that issue. Classic material. Trying to get my buddy who has a clean Double Dare to do a Clod vs DD shootout. As far as color, I'm leaning towards Tamiya light sand but my decision will be based on what's in stock at my LHS.
