Re: My RC10 Graphite team car
wooooo.........really love the style of hanging the Esc over the rear shock tower......... this is the true vintage........ 8) 8) heh, if i remember right, the t1x was too big to safely mount on the chassis and the wires to the motor were too short to mount it anywhere else. Thanks for the comments...

my Dad bought it back from Singapore shortly after it came out, so good timeing on my part, as we had no Associated agent back then (oh wait, we still dont).
took me 4 years to pay him back.
to date, all i ever broke on it was the steering arms.
ill post up the other cars soon

Re: NiMh battery charging???? Which Batteries are Better??
I just got the Promatch battery packs in the mail today, what a nice pack, it's very well put together with the clear heat shrink around every cell. one thing that caught my eye though, it says to charge at 8, woa  and I thought charging at 6 was high, I'll just charge them at 6.5, that'll b...

download this book and have a read.
its the best thing i have ever read when it comes to suspention setups
http://www.teamxray.com/teamxray/showfile.php?file_id=4461
its aimed at 1/8 gas cars, but the explainations about everything are fantastic

Re: NiMh battery charging???? Which Batteries are Better??
Charge the Trinitys at 6 amps, even if they ask for 5 amps?? I gotta look at my chargers specs to see if I will handle the specs that batteries require. all of my 4200s and 4600s (well, the matched ones) all say to charge them at 6 amps. by doing this, it increases the voltage in each sell, thus in...

Re: NiMh battery charging???? Which Batteries are Better??
hiya
either of these cells would be fine, (personally, id go for the trinity ep ones) its the IBs that have got a real bad rep with the 4600mah
charge them at 6 amps and you will be away

Re: Is the RPM 2.65 Stealth Conversion worth getting??
Good thing we can always come back to these post for reference, cause I'd be going crazy trying to remember all this good advise. I'm gonna order some cutting fluid and a new blade just in case, and get some practice in, I might be able to salvage some of the vintage Mod motors that I got just layi...

Re: Is the RPM 2.65 Stealth Conversion worth getting??
when remember when you are cutting the comm, to make sure its always wet, so be generous with the fluid and always be smooth with the arm
oh, and oil the wheels as the left to right one (the cutter) can get abit tight.

Re: Is the RPM 2.65 Stealth Conversion worth getting??
The comm comes out kind of rough, not as smooth as other people I've seen do it. I use the black marker method, then I start nice and slow, when I see that the marker line starts to dissappear a little, I move it across the comm, but it comes out rough, maybe I need some type of oil, which one is r...
