Re: Pre-Black Friday/Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales

I haven't even looked at the sales as I typically volunteer to work today. The money I make today makes up for the small difference between prices of shopping this weekend and just going during the week between now & Christmas. That said, I did click on a couple online deals for Syma quadcopters...

Re: Turkey Day....

We had a good day seeing family at my aunt's. I took my kids, one nephew & a niece to the high school field right down the road from my aunt's house and buddy boxed on a couple planes. Any rc-related holiday is good.

Could be a popwing or something like that... they're incredibly fast with the right setup.

The Big Bear is more like your elderly bachelor uncle, who never fathered any offspring.

Re: New to the Blackfoot and have a few ?'s

The lower servo mounts in the cross brace that isn't there.
You put the cross members in when you assemble the chassis, so someone likely just forgot that part. It should be A8.

Re: HALO 4

Funny coincidence: I need to upgrade my PC soon, but I just replayed the Halo trial version (which I still have installed) last week. That's as far as I got, although I do enjoy that type of game. I'm from the Atari/NES era.

Re: Track set-up

Matty- there are a couple members here who run at RCE. Hopefully one of them will chime in and give you some input on setup/gearing. Good luck to you and nice to see someone else who likes to run their RC10!

Wow, they forgot the 5x8 bushing? It must not have been run much at all... I would think the wobble would chew that gear up. Great rebuild btw... always love bringing them back to life! :D

Re: monster truck tires

Here's a link to the WW2 manual: http://rcdocuments.com/file_info/download.php?file=Tamiya_Wild_willy_2_Manual_(WR-02).pdf (Copy and paste for some reason.) If you can get the page with the front axles to print (unscaled), you could maybe compare axle length to the LB so see if they would work. It l...

Re: HappyBirthday! Civilguy

Thanks guys. It was an age-appropriate day.

We were supposed to go to a corn maze, but the weather didn't cooperate so we went to the movies instead. My daughter made a killer blueberry coffee cake for breakfast and my son didn't fight with her all day. Perfect birthday.

Re: Kyosho Racing Box

Thanks. I don't have any Kyoshos, so I was going to list the box here (at some point). I wasn't looking to make a killing... more looking to see if what I have is complete or at least the correct parts that came in these boxes.
