Just kidding... that sounds like a great plan! No more having to sort thru the Losi posts in the non-RC10 section to find something interesting.

Re: ??? Tamiya Grasshoper Oil Shocks

They were the same as the Hornet shocks from Tamiya. You can find "Hornet shocks" on eBay -- set of 2 and parts about $13 (TH19) and then you will need the Hornet D tree for the plastic bits to mount them. There were aftermarket ones as well (CRP, Parma, etc) but they are sought-after and ...

Re: know any thing about: MYSTERY lipo balance/charger

An inexpensive (relatively!) alternative that works with 1-6 cell lipos that have a balancer plug:

The nice thing about this one is you can use it for your plane batteries as well! ;)

Various old 1200 packs -- Recycle??

Hmmmm... buy, sell or trade? Can I give away? ;) I have a bunch of old batteries. I can get pics, but this is what I am about to recycle: (3) Leisure 1200mAh 6 cell hump packs - in the bright yellow shrink wrap 2 have cuts next to the hump to allow them to fit in Hornets if I remember correctly. The...

The kits released overseas often do NOT have one. For some reason they feel the rest of the world needs an ESC but they do not. Perhaps their breakfast cereals come with a TEU101-BK as a prize???

Re: Well, it is a start!!!

If Losi is your thing, then it looks like you did well. Those are two very decent examples. It looks like someone took pretty good care of their stuff. I think the gold rears look like Option House (Kyosho) bits, but I'm not sure. Personally, I look at those and see 2 more runners, but have fun with...

Just contact him through his website (aconsola listed it above)-- either email or call. They were quick to reply and I think it was about $8 a strap, but don't hold me to that. 8)

Re: New puretech battery straps compared to originals.

Wow- before the VONATs I was looking at my frayed PureTech strap in my gold pan. After a late night search I also contacted Dwayne after finding his current website. Same deal, just via email contact, and I had 3 spare straps in my parts box for my RC10.... He even managed to scrape up a coupl...

Does there appear to be a single cross-mounted shock just below the wing? I may be seeing pixels that aren't there! ;)
