Re: Hyperdrive for RC10 Questions
I hear ya, we sold the cuda while I was in college and right before the market exploded. My father is sick over the sell now. Cudas are worth so much money now and we sold it for $9000 completely restored like the RR above. Now it's Worth well over $40000.

Re: Hyperdrive for RC10 Questions
Way cool post Vice, that's a rare piece that motor bracket. Do you want to weigh in on the running the motor backwards issue? As some one who actually ran it back in the day you might be able to add some more detail into what the makers instructionsd were. I remember not getting the correct ratio a...

Re: Hyperdrive for RC10 Questions
I used to run a hyperdrive setup. Here is a rare hyperdrive motor plate for longer belts. I liked the marketing, only thing belt drive is good for was running quiet. Now if I can just find my old trackmaster direct drive. I see that's worth some $$$ now.

Congrats to you and your team, Asso_man! :!: That’s fantastic. Being a driver who is a bit “vintage” in years myself, it’s especially pleasing to see you do so well against the current models. Just how well did the B4s hold up, anyway? Thanks for the props on the B4 setup, but my build was a...

I must also say that the Mamba brushless set-up is really awesome and so cheap compared to the Novak/LRP ones. They are legal in Europe (EFRA), but not in the US (ROAR) unfortunately... I have 2 different Novaks Brushless systems and the same Mamba (4600). I :!: LOVE :!: my Mamba system. I use it i...

Here is the latest update. Ball bearing aluminum steering assembly. It's nice to have all the slop out of the steering mechanism.

I just wanted to give everyone an update on my car. I have been slowly planning out what I want out of this rebuild. My main intension is to have fun with this car and race it again! Therefore, all the changes I did to it were all the things I would have did to it back in the day. The transmission i...

Re: Trackmaster Direct Drive Tranny
I have one of those from way back in the day I have to find it. From what I remember I had to run a real small pinion like 11 teeth on 48 pitch to work right with the wheel size.

Straight from the attic, my 1985 RC10 back for action!
Here you go guys. I bought this used in 1986. This car has been through many mods. Hyperdrive (belt drive), direct drive from track master, front a arms, Chain drive, crazy light weight graphite chassis from tower in 1987, long front shock tower, and so on and on and on and on. This car has not seen...
