Re: Screw pitch?
Thanks, I'm using the center diff/motor mount for a brushless conversion. Good idea, I'll download the manual.

Screw pitch?
Hello All, I was wondering if someone could tell me what screw pitch/size Losi cars and buggies use? I know Kyosho's use m3 screws with a .05 pitch. My Kyosho m3 and m4 screws won't thread in.

Re: Team Orion 3.5T Motor in Turbo Optima re-re?
I'm building an original Turbo Optima with rere drivetrain to use as a runner, I opted to run Kyosho's high velocity gear with it. That is the blue spur gear, 41 tooth pinion and OT206b high velocity chain guides and gear cover. For added slip/protection I'm running a rear ball diff. With all that, ...

Re: Turbo Optima mid (SE???)
FWIW, I've owned 3 or 4 Mids and all of them were missing part OPM-9. You can see it here on page 13 of the manual. OPM-9.JPG I've never actually seen one but I think it's rubber. It's meant to seal the underside of the belt cover where the belt exits the rear gearbox - directly above the motor. Th...

Re: Optima re-re parts compatibility
The front gearbox is not the problem when upgrading to Rere drive train. There you still have options. The problem is the orginal rear gearbox would have to be replaced. If you wish to upgrade to a slipper, without the diffs and belt, that is possible with the original gearbox. You'd be better off j...

Re: Rampage GP10 Electric?
I switched browsers and got a "file too large" message, even after I compressed the pic file to it's lowest resolution. My apologies to the O.P. I don't want to hijack his thread. I am really trying to contribute to this thread with pics detailing my work.

Re: Rampage GP10 Electric?
I shaved the gearbox bearing support for the offset main shaft, I replaced the crosspinned belt pulley with a drive cup. I'm going to use a 83 to 85mm dog bone to a Losi 10 center differential/ motor mount with a lopped off section off a RB6 shaft coupled to another drive cup, mounted inside the Los...

Re: Rampage GP10 Electric?
Funny you posted this, I'm currently converting my old ZR1 (Rampage) into electric. I am converting it from the onroad version of the chassis to a Rampage buggy. Aftermarket tall graphite shock towers, long gold shocks, adjustable turnbuckles, front and rear antiroll bars, full bearings, universal d...

Re: kyosho rerelease optima pulleys
I am building an original with Rere drivetrain as a runner. Rere ball diff in the rear, retrofitted one-way in the front, rere gearboxes, slipper and blue spur and 41 tooth pinion on the motor. Everything else, other than the rear shock tower and the steering servo bracket is original.
