Re: Which off road buggy?
The Serpent looks pretty good, it has some uniqueness to it. The Sworks and Corally are pretty much straight clones to everything else out there. The Tamiya will just be a non-competitive toy.

I have a set of used wheels for your truck. I also wouldn't mind getting that Yellow #4 FM receiver crystal from that AM receiver.

Re: XX-4 rear wheel question / Help
You might try updating to the Losi A-2126 'cr' rear hub, it might give you enough clearance for the wheel.

Re: What's the deal with the Traxxas Eagle?
I got one of those in a trade deal once and have since sold it. Other than the chassis being really flexible side to side, it's a really cool truck and actually quite innovative for the time.

Re: OPEN losi xx4 discussion
Anybody out there occasionally club race their XX4?
I've been running my XX4 at my local indoor astroturf track occasionally. I'm getting close to a great setup.

It's all RC10T. There are just a couple of mixed early/late generation parts on it. You have a nice truck.

Re: Re wiring older Novak ESCs.
As a guy that restores my own esc's... Here's the issue, no one wants to be responsible for your old, used, rare equipment. Do the speed controls work 100% functionally to begin with? I've bought speed controls where the seller says they work (because they plugged it in and it lit up) and they don't...

Lol, the whole reason to convert to hexes was the lack of availability of the original pin wheels. Now that pin wheels are re-released...

Re: Hydra-Drive
A Hydra-drive rebuild kit replaces everything except the housing and bearing inside. Pretty much a straight disassemble, replace parts and reassemble procedure.
