Re: Vintage Edinger motor stopped working
It's ancient. The brushes are probably shot and the comm has probably seen better days. And it was far from high-end to begin with. But with a restoration it's nice to have work, ya know? If you have a comm lathe, you can carefully knock the motor apart and rebuild it. I've saved a couple of them.

I'm still trying to figure out WTF is up with the nose plate.
And I wish that someone would make a reproduction buggy nose plate.

Re: The dog thread
After being without a dog for nearly two years (accident), we brought this one home yesterday.
He is a 20 month old Dane that was surrendered to the Humaine Society. He is still on the skinny side but is much better than when they received him.

If you look at the listed price versus what they actually sell for, you'll notice that there isn't a big discount. After you figure in shipping your old items, it just doesn't look as appealing.

Put some more AmPro parts on the Brat. Added the shock mount / body mount braces. I also switched the rear tires for some Trenchers.

Re: 2014 Kyosho Beetle
I remember having difficulty with the windows on my beetle. They are still a little hazy, kinda like darker tint on a car.
I think that I used an X-Acto knife and hair dryer to remove the bubbles. I also put decals on with Windex, which seems to help when pushing bubbles out.
