Re: Forum News & Discussion

Not that it's that bad, but it verifies any time that I change data connection. Wifi at home, different data boosters at work.

Re: Vintage Edinger motor stopped working

It's ancient. The brushes are probably shot and the comm has probably seen better days. And it was far from high-end to begin with. But with a restoration it's nice to have work, ya know? If you have a comm lathe, you can carefully knock the motor apart and rebuild it. I've saved a couple of them.

Re: “aftermarket” RC10 gold chassis pan

I'm still trying to figure out WTF is up with the nose plate.

And I wish that someone would make a reproduction buggy nose plate.

After being without a dog for nearly two years (accident), we brought this one home yesterday.

He is a 20 month old Dane that was surrendered to the Humaine Society. He is still on the skinny side but is much better than when they received him.

What I tend to do with pictures is take them from a greater distance then crop them back to make the file smaller , not sure if it's better but it's simpler for me .
My Samsung phone allows you to simply resize the image. 80% usually works fine.

Re: Reedy Upgrade Exchange Program

If you look at the listed price versus what they actually sell for, you'll notice that there isn't a big discount. After you figure in shipping your old items, it just doesn't look as appealing.

That's a good looking truck! What is the color?
Metallic burgundy, backed in metallic gunmetal. I think both were Duratrax colors.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Put some more AmPro parts on the Brat. Added the shock mount / body mount braces. I also switched the rear tires for some Trenchers.

Re: 2014 Kyosho Beetle

I remember having difficulty with the windows on my beetle. They are still a little hazy, kinda like darker tint on a car.

I think that I used an X-Acto knife and hair dryer to remove the bubbles. I also put decals on with Windex, which seems to help when pushing bubbles out.

Re: Tire/wheel recommendation

Some JC Racing 2.2 wheels and modern tires will be your best bet. They'll probably look a little odd on a short arm car. Just note that the fronts are available in two widths. The narrow looks more "correct" on a vintage car but tire selection is limited. The wide front has a large selecti...
