Re: found another modern hex wheel for RC10

The RTR version CRT.5 wheels come in white....

If I can dig out the catalog I got at the show, I could swear it showed yellow, white and black wheels as optional parts. The jammin' website isn't much help as far as spare parts go.. :?

Re: found another modern hex wheel for RC10

I remember talkin' to the guys at the Jammin' booth at RCX a couple years back about this. I never followed through with it though, since they don't make fronts that'll work on the '10... Seems like a great option still and Tower sells them as a four pack.... http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti...

Re: i need tools

and when i think about all my metric full size car tools, these $60.00 hex's are very reasonable. Exactly! I spent $385 on the Snap-on truck today and all I got was a 1/2" drive torque wrench and a 36mm Impact socket....  Granted, I'll never have to buy anymore of these for as lon...

Re: The BMX (and other bikes) thread

What an awesome tread this is! 8) Makes me want to dig out my 2 bmx's from back in the day. I still have my 1990 Free Agent Ambush and 1998 Dirt Master H.F.O. The Free Agent was the first quality BMX bike I ever got new. And the Dirt Master was a high school graduation gift. My parents did some embr...

Re: RC10T project

Coming along very nicely! I know blue aluminum shock bodies aren't period correct for a 10T, but it would add a nice patriotic type theme to this truck. Maybe with a blue aluminum screw set also... That would look awesome with that new body painted box art style!! Just an observation I had...

Re: T2 body RUINED!!

This time, I WON'T USE flourescents! Fluorescents aren't too bad. You gotta remember that they'll never look like they're on thick enough, no matter how many coats or how "thick" you apply them. Lay down a few easy, even coats. Then they need to be backed with a bright solid color afterwa...

Exactly! Trim down the chassis sides and add a truck rear tower and it makes it look like this....... :D

Very nice resurrection of your truck! Although I do like that old thrasher mag sticker on the old body... 8)

I have that same road hawg's-on-RPM-wheels setup on my GT. I love those tires! Rears don't last to long behind an O.S. .18 engine though!

Re: How many versions of the RC10T were there?

More than likely is was one of the last runs of the 7035 team truck. AE changed to all black parts on their last of the 10's and 10T's as the B2 and T2 were being phased in. I say team truck because you mentioned 1-piece wheels. Sport trucks would have still had 3-peice wheels, gold-bodied shocks an...

8-32 for the rear and 5-40 for aluminum front axles, 4-40 if the fronts are the older steel ones...
