Re: Who's the racer? 1991 ROAR nats
Scott's a great guy, I got to pit with him and Kelly Lunsford at the 1995 Proline Endless Summer Classic at the old (first) M&M Raceway. Kelly gave me a set of turnbuckles and a shirt cause I didn't have Lunsfords on my car. I learned a lot that weekend!

Re: SC10 spinning out
Front shocks on the inner arm hole can make the truck hook. Make sure they are on the outer arm hole and middle to outer tower hole. A harder front spring can also help - Make sure the front shocks aren't dead or pogo sticks first. Basically try to take away front end grip. Will this be the same fo...

Re: SC10 spinning out
Take those spacers out from under the arm mount, that much anti squat will make the rear act stiff and not transfer weight to the rear. You want to run the 2 degree spacer. Move the battery forward a little, like 2 or 3 pads in front of the battery. Too much weight too far back can cause it to hook....

Re: 1/8 eBUGGIES, need opinions
I'm dying to grab a Losi 8 3.0, and an 1.0 electric conversion. But, by the time I bought the buggy, the conversion, the electronics, tires and spares I'd be out 1500+ I went to the AMS in Cullman, AL yesterday to watch all the pros, that was an amazing experience. Nitros are alive and well! The E-...

Re: Possible taboo body question.
I just tried my B44.1 Finnisher and Punisher on my gold pan. The pan is too wide, good thing is no cab forward for the classic!

Re: I'm back with an RC10 again
After giving myself a reality check and adding up the cost of building it the way I want to I'm not so sure about using this particular car for a modern runner build. The only parts I would be using would be the pan and rear arm mounts. I might just restore this car to period correct and find a 10T ...

I'm back with an RC10 again
I haven't been on this site in probably 2 years, anywho I just received my next project in the mail yesterday. The best part of this one? /straight and clean motor plate, relatively clean chassis A stamp with no extra holes and very few scratches, Andy's arms. The bad, it smells like someone used th...

Re: T4 chubs on 10t
If you're putting t4 caster blocks on a T you will want the 25 degree ones. The T4 chassis has 25degrees of kickup and the T has 30. If you put 30 degree caster blocks from a T4 on a 10t you will actually have 35 degrees on your 10t. Hope that's not too confusing of an explanation.

Re: Motor Wires keep coming unsoldered
good point about the temps. I have an adjustable soldering iron and had it set to 896deg F and both wires looked good. I somehow managed to splatter solder in my eye just missing the cornia  I ended up in the emergency room shortly after, luckily I'm okay and safety glasses will be worn at a...

Re: Losi xxx-cr
Not sure, that's just what Casper told me to use on rctech forum, I think it helps the rear end square up more for high bite tracks. I haven't tried it yet, I mainly run the car outdoors and I'm happy with it straight out of the box so far. Try it the way it is, you might like. I find sometimes the ...

Re: Losi xxx-cr
I picked up a CR too about a month ago. I run mine mainly on an outdoor track made for 8th scales, and that's where the CR really shines. It's a great rough track car. What kind of track are you going to be running on? They work great on indoor clay with a few changes. For indoor change the steering...

Re: Doritos 2nd Degree Burn and hot sauces!
I like Tapatio, growing up in San Diego it was what most of the Mexican joints had on the table. And I was really surprised that Jim beam hot sauce is pretty hot but has a really good flavor to it. I have some habanero hot sauce i got in Lynchburg, while visiting the Jack Daniel's distillery, that i...

I've "Hung" out with Tony a couple times at the US Openwheel Champs in 06' and 07', mostly he always had a small crowd around him at the track. My best Tony story is this- 2006 USOWC @ Coopers R/C Raceway in Chatham VA, A good friend of mine was practicing Mod EDM ( Fastest class period )...
