Re: who are Freddy and Brandon in this video?
Freddy is tecnica2001 and brandon is brandong, I got to watch that one in person. It was the best race of the day by far. I'm pretty sure brandon has retired the frog since then. Freddy's Bearhawk bug was pretty interesting, I think it had 4 or 5 different manufacturers parts on it.

Re: Proline Bulldog Love or Hate?
They're not going for airflow improvements, it's a race body, not a 1:1 car where gas mileage and wind noise are a concern. Improving gas mileage and wind noise...airflow improvements...hmmm...wouldn't those be equivalent performance-enhancing results? 8) Sorry, I just don't buy that claim, I'm afr...

Re: Proline Bulldog Love or Hate?
They're not going for airflow improvements, it's a race body, not a 1:1 car where gas mileage and wind noise are a concern. They are changing where the downforce is distributed on the car. The windshield is more upright and further forward, placing more downforce on the front half of the car. I didn...

Re: Broken Mamba switch
Put your Mamba into Smartsense mode, it will work without a sensor. Novak has a pretty nice trade-in program though, You can trade in that old motor for a new Ballistic. The good thing about a ballistic is the sensor wire is not permanently attached to the motor.

Re: srt to shortcourse questions
Those different front arms you have with the larger hinge pin holes are probably nitro rustler arms. I know there's a difference in slash/rustler and nitro rustler front arms. The nitro rusltler one uses bearings in the wheel, like the srt and the other has a live axle and 12mm hex like a slash. it'...

Re: Pictures of Kinwald's XXT's???
I'll see if I can find the actual photo, it's somewhere around the house. I'll post a scan of just BK's truck larger for ya. I took that at a big race at the old MnM hobbies in socal in summer of '95.

Re: How to run modern rubber on your JRX series car
Just use standard B4 wheels on the back, the offset is only about 1-2mm off from the original wheels. I ran B4 wheels front and rear and my jrxPRO-SE ran great. B3 offset wheels will "work" they will fit, but the offset is wrong and it will make the rear end too wide. and screw up the hand...

Trust me, get some different tires. I think stock SC10 tires were made by the devil himself just to piss us all off! Unless you run on carpet or the street, then they're fine.

Re: Ok Short Course Truck Dilemma?
I hate to say it, but the best bang for your buck is the Traxxas Slash. They come with everything you need right there in the box, and they can take a beating without breaking parts. We have an under 16 race class at my local track, it's mostly kids between 5 and 10 years old. I watched a 5 year old...
