3D Printing an RC10 Chassis
I should be working on my 20 other RC projects, but instead I decided to model the aluminum RC10 chassis and massage the design to make it 3D printable out of ABS plastic (which is obviously WAY more flexible than 6061-T6 :D ). The printer I have at work only has a 6"x6" platform, so I had...

Oh shoot, I didn't even see your post, Todd. Sorry for being redundant .
Glad I could add an illustrative pic, though .

Re: Neat car storage solution
Nice idea!
Likely more money, but it would be less work to use adjustable shelf brackets, and no shelves, of course.
Like this, but with the wall mounted uprights closer together.

Thanks thumb! Yeah, I was glad he could just keep following the car .
Yes, it does run smoothly, although with that special sound that only a chain can make!
DennisM: to answer the burning question, I actually made it flip, but definitely not on purpose .

Re: Finally! My AYK Pro Radiant is complete!
I finally got this running yesterday evening. We shot a short video; please excuse the spotty driving (all me :D ) and filming (my six year old son...I actually think he did pretty well). The Pro was setup as shown in the pictures above, except for the addition of a 2S Lipo pack. http://www.youtube....

Re: Using Acetone on Dyed Wheels
The acetone may lighten the color if the wheels are submerged. If the fumes method is used (see terry.sc's post in this thread), it shouldn't affect the color.

Yes. I have Pro Radiant rear axles in the front and Radiant front/rear axles in the rear. So, I don't have the one-way bearing assemblies installed.

I agree; the white parts looks 3D printed.
Marc, I don't think it's an ad, just an RC Magazine article.

Re: Finally! My AYK Pro Radiant is complete!
Marc: Yeah, I need to get the gold wheels on there for some more pics; it was late  . I actually prefer the black ones, though. The Boost had black wheels, so that was my inspiration for the black ones on this build. 3D Printing: I've had a Solidoodle "Fused Filament Fabrication" ...

Re: Finally! My AYK Pro Radiant is complete!
Thanks, Hcp22! Jason: I haven't raced in almost 25 years and I try (don't always succeed :D ) to take it easy on the vintage stuff while just driving around my back yard or in a neighborhood park, so I hope my steering holds up long term. The Pro's bellcrank design doesn't inspire confidence, but ti...

Finally! My AYK Pro Radiant is complete!
After two years of collecting parts (used partial Radiant and Pro Radiant cars and NIP parts) and six months of off and on building (almost as slow as scr8p! :D ), my Pro Radiant is complete: --Used chassis plates --New and used suspension components --Rebuilt diffs front and rear with new diff spro...
