Re: optima mid servo saver
The blue version is a rigid crank with no saver function and is kyosho generic, but tends to be found more on gas cars like the GP10, Super 10 and Pure 10. It's designed to be mostly universal with the horn reversible and can be configured for most 1/10 Kyosho cars with a similar steering setup. The...

Re: Sand Scorcher 2010
I just went to Electric Town Akihabara and I almost passed out when I saw the Sand Scorcher 2010 retailing for 21300 yen (US$238) and the Buggy Champ for 20500 yen. I almost bought one on the spot but the box is absolutely enormous for a 1/10th. It's a re-release but this has to be the best value ca...

Are you able to stop after this one or are you like me and say you are now more than half way to your second mid in parts alone? This path never ends...

Don't rule out that because there aren't Javelin fakes/reproductions out there diluting the Javelin numbers, they hold their value much better.

Ayk Pro Radiant
I thought I would explain my Mike Dunn question here rather than hijack the Dunn QA thread. There are a huge number of Boost shelled Pro Radiants on the internet, even stickered with Pro Radiant decals. InetRC suggests that the Boost shell was standard on the Pro: http://www.inetrc.com/AYK/Details/A...

It's wrong to dilute this thread with thanks but even more wrong not to thank you and Mike for your time and effort. Thanks indeed!

I'm not sure I can squeeze painting this into my lifetime at my snail pace hence the 2032 estimaed time of completion. Congratulations to any doers out there. The rear gearbox is from the current ebay bottemless pit of gearboxes yes (by my count there have been/are 30+ so far available !)...the fron...

Re: If you could ask Race Prep's Mike Dunn......
Hi Jeff, I will let prp and bormac ask their questions first so as to not waste Mike's time with my questions...so I will ask you questions if that is OK. Anything you care to write would be fascinating reading with regards to the Ayk cars you have seen and driven eg. did Race Prep's association wit...
