Re: Mid Motor Rustler - V2
Yeah I use standard bandit front end parts with either the black or grey plastic hexes, with losi/hb offset wheels to get the right width.

Re: RC10 GTM 2.0 Buggy (GT flat chassis+trans)
Thanks,
I haven't decided how to mount the servo and the steering rack too.
It is low profile so I have more flexibility.

Build yourself a quick and cheap backup power supply for charging!
v0gYNO9TTsY This is a quick, easy, and cheap way to get decent power for charging your R/C batteries. It's just an Xbox 360 supply with the wires gathered into +12V, GND, and jumping the sense/5V wires together (to turn on the supply). Best of all Xbox 360 (or laptop or monitor) supplies are all ov...

Re: RC10 GTM 2.0 Buggy (GT flat chassis+trans)
The close up of the rear tower is to show the way I mounted a section of the Kyosho roll cage so the the cage could clip on. The RPM ball cup have been replaced with Dubro. I like how they mount with screws instead of ball cups. The roll bar is stock Kyosho Turbo Scorpion. It is easy to make nose tu...

Re: Using Li-Ion batteries in Sanwa MT-S transmitter
Yes good idea, but it might be as well to check voltages before you jump in, depending on your tran exactly, radios are different brand to brand and even by series within the same brand, and year to year, so to it pays to check. I was happy to find out that the MT-S could handle 4 dry, 4 nimh, 2 ce...

Re: Using Li-Ion batteries in Sanwa MT-S transmitter
You could get a backup LiFe battery for $20-$30
I have charged batts for 5 minutes just enough to get through mains before.

Using Li-Ion batteries in Sanwa MT-S transmitter
Using Li-Ion batteries in Sanwa MT-S transmitter (Check your TX for compatibility with other batteries) The standard battery in the MT-S is 4xAA dry cells or Nimh cells if you use rechargeables. This works well in the transmitter because these batteries are cheap and easy to get, and the radio is ef...

Re: e-GT buggy build
I Like it! I also did a tub GT and loved it. My 3d printed battery brace and waterfall were the biggest challenge, and ultimately they couldn't handle race abuse. I've switched over to a flat GT chassis for 2.0. I like the material and execution you've got for the battery and waterfall. How did your...

RC10 B3 Factory Team Ironman Edition
The Buggy is a stock RC10 B3 Factory Team It has a shorty lipo and 13.5 brushless system with a little turbo/timing added for speed. I have raced it at a couple big races in the Northwest Championship Tour At the Hank Perry 240 I had qualified ok, in 6th. With tuning getting better and better, I was...
