Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
More body-related goodies.... these are HPI Stage-D Aero Update kits. Designed to update stock bodies with wider arches, side skirts, and new front and rear spoilers. Very drifty.... #7127 is for the S15 Silvia, and #7128 is for the FD3S (Series 6) RX7. 02.jpg Seeing as I don't have either of the or...

Re: Things that irritate you
Fortunately, I have found a workaround to get Picture Manager installed and working again..... so back to normal for me. I get the feeling Windows 11 is going to be like this a lot..... find a feature that now "works better" (i.e. less efficiently, or not at all), and then work out how to ...

Re: Things that irritate you
I'm an old man, very much set in my ways. Having just been evicted from my long-term laptop home (my Windows 7 laptop would no longer power up, or physically charge the battery), I am now trying to get to grips with a shiny new Windows 11 beast. Fair to say I delayed moving from Windows 7 longer tha...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Another good day with the postman, with this errata arriving :) First up, a big bag of bearings from my good mate Bullfrog . He sent these to me for my TT01 rebuilds - just another way I am in debt to this great bloke. 100 x 1150s, 50 x 850s, and 24 x 1280s..... should keep the machines running smoo...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Local pickup from Gumtree (of all places).... should satiate my Tamiya wrenching craving!!! 101.jpg 103.jpg 104.jpg Two TT01s, a TT01e, and an M03 (in M03L configuration). Plus a metric squibload of spares, including more than 10 of the same sprue..... apparently, the previous owners used to go to t...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
That's a good approximation of the 'other' Schumacher page.... which was no longer open for business, last time I checked. Shame... some people put good time into the community there, so it's sad that it was ruined by the ego of one who puts the dick in dictator.... The group is still viewable, but...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Big thanks to @Bormac for the delivery services, cleaning, sorting, bagging, rebuilding, and for being just a good bloke... and to Richard for the Tamiya stuff and some electricals. Now to get started on race-readying..... only 6 months to go to Vintage Bash 3.0! I suspected you were the "Alex...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
New boots for my el-cheapo bash truck project...... these cost more than the truck originally cost me! 20240509_165504.jpg One more parts order to arrive, paint a replacement body, swap in a servo that can actually turn the wheels, and it'll be done. I'm banking on Christmas.... won't say which year...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
A good friend of mine picked this up in a cheap garage sale lot recently, amongst a bunch of other cars. He had no use for it, so he tidied it up and sent it to me! 20240507_164726.jpg Sure, it's only a Super Hornet, but it's in pretty nice shape, and the Futaba Attack-SR TX is in almost-new conditi...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Not quite in the mail..... but met up with this nice Jason bloke today, after he drove down from Sydney to Melbourne (1000+kms) to say hello... 01.jpg He dropped off some stuff that has been piling up... 02.jpg Including a massive box of Schumacher vintage parts, cleaned, categorised and organised. ...
