it's been a good car !
I just sold mine last week though (with my K1) as I've decided to run only Associated for now.

Yes the club 10 box was great, it had a 7.5 in it and was on astro so got a good work out and held up fine. It had the Works slipper fitted before the event btw. That's good to know. I got all the pieces now to build my geared gearbox, although no instructions.... I'm only going to 13.5 in mine tho...

I'm disappointed you are giving up on the car though, and I'll be curious to see how results compare with the RC-10.

Not electronics as such, but I got these old Demon decals today !
I am still looking for the really old prismatic red ones, but in the meantime these are pretty great to find.

I actually just had an e-mail chat with 'Uncle' Nick the past couple of weeks.
He was telling me he still had his original RC-10 that he raced back in about 86.
Loved those old prismatic decals !!

Nosram AND Demon??

I do like the colours, quite of the time.

Need a little help with this.
When I try to tighten the wheels, front AND rear
It gets that the wheels really bind.
Like super tight.
I can loosen the bolts to where they spin I'm, but then not tight enough to stay on.
Any ideas??

I got some new pics of mine to upload, but I'm really thinking the geared gearbox is something I need in mine. I'm running 13.5 for now, I wonder how much more motor the chassis would handle though. I'm also running a shorty pack in mine, so I think maybe I'll have to add some lead. looks awesome !!

I still have some brand new dished ones if you need them.

Very nice, and of the period.

I currently race a K1 and SVR on our dirt track.
Before the K1 I had an SX3.
All 3 cars are very well made, I always get guys at our track wanting to look at the cars.
I'm sure you'll have a great time with the SX, just know up front they do require a little bit more maintenance that 2wd cars.

Ok So I did indeed put the B4 shocks on, I prefer them for lack of leakages and easy adjusts. Also mounted the motor, a Viper 13.5 And the electronics are in place too. those yokomo wheel adapters are nice.

I'm thinking I'll drop my B4 threaded shocks on though, as they are just better.
just waiting on some other stuff coming in from Apex Models, then some wires to solder in and pretty much done.
Got my wheels in from JC Racing, super fast shipping !! and look great.
