Sorry to hear that. Not that you want to re-live this, but can you post pictures of the items that were stolen...so we can keep an eye out for them.

Re: cleaning mag parts
Years ago, I used a wire wheel and it gave the parts a nice look...a little on the shiny side. After a couple of months sitting in the basement, they had a white film on them because the newly poured concrete vented a lot of moisture. I re-polished and used some Testors transparent blue...which made...

Re: JRX-LTO #1
That car looks great...and I love the red. I also have that chassis, but I always thought it was a composite craft. Mine is currently sitting on a shelf waiting to be completed. Originally wanted to d a red car to match the bell cranks, but I couldn't find the rear wheels to match. Had a set of yell...

Re: New PRP project
I like what you've done with the stinger. Be careful with the front bulkhead (where the front arms attach in the back), that's the weak spot of the car. I've had 2 cars where that part was broken.

Re: Sideways, the ugliest Sprint car I've ever laid eyes on.
i have always wanted/loved those wide rear wheels/tires. would look sweet on a hotrod project!!! Back in the day, i couldn't sell any of these (at the hobby shop). I decided to build one and I mounted a clear parma 57 chevy body on it and left it out as a display. We started selling a bunch of them...

Re: Japanese JRX2
That car may have been on a Japanese website, but it's actually in Australia.
Anthony is correct about the front buklhead. The early 10 degree bulkhead will not line up even if you drill the holes. That surface is not parallel with the chassis.

Re: Vintage Aftermarket Shocks for a Mid- What are the Optio
On my optima, I "upgraded" to the platinums. And I kept telling myself that they were an upgrade (becasue they were more expensive), but the truth is that the golds were pretty much the best ones out there. The trinitiys are very nice and smooth (smoother than the golds)...so that may be t...

Re: Andy's RC10 build
That's the Jammin Jumper body. I'm not sure if it will cover the entire chassis...but it definitely looks like a good option.

Re: Andy's RC10 build
Looks nice but that 10T tower is a bit off on it. ;) Believe me, it took me a long time to finally decide to use that tower. It's slightly modified from stock because I re-drilled it to have the same upper mount location as the stock tower. I then trimmed off the excess parts just to make it look m...

Andy's RC10 build
hello All, A couple years ago, I bought a huge lot of Andy's parts which included several composite chassis, a ton of standard parts and some prototype parts. Everything was new, but a little dirty from sitting around for the past 20 years. Some of the chassis were blank and didn't even have the And...
