Re: Toy grade/ Hobby Grade Mid Ship 4wd RTR from Ban Dai !
I bought one last year just weeks before a big vintage race. Worked on it like a devil to get proper electronics in, bearings throuhout, replacement of the broken body, and a simplified shock setup with oil-filled units. It was actually great fun to drive, even while it was bouncy like a tennis ball...

Thanks Jeff,, you're a hero
They post sideways on facebook too , and after a week it's near impossible to find anything again. Nobody bothers searching facebook anyways and just shoots questions on every whim.

Re: Academy Wyvern, 23 Mar 2013, suspension update
The car holds a nice middle between its inspiration and lower end hobby-grade which means it is good enough qualitywise but with plenty opportunity for improvement.
The toddler, now teenager, let me take an updated picture. Here it is along with some details in better lightconditions.

Re: MRC MRX
ah finally I understand why that original body was sitting so high onthe MRC I owned years ago.
That magazine really put in some effort to correct for the short body; look at how they cut out the rear to allow the shocks to pass through

Re: Academy Wyvern, 23 Mar 2013, suspension update
I revised the suspension again: arms are finally upside down as i wanted from the get go. And , also finally, got rid of the black bakeliet chassis. An old trx1 chassis took its place. The saddle pack is gone and replaced by a shorty. It looks like I can fit the original shell and undertray after tr...

Re: Anyone Familiar With Hobby World Valiant II? (TRX-1 Clone)
I made some new shocktowers as the epoxy ones broke and the alu ones bent. I used an old plate of natural colour epoxy in 3mm thickness. I also modified the design to have something stronger and with more usable tuning options. Hope you like it.

This is my modified one in action earlier this month.

I also have a variant of it: made by hobbyworld for multiplex. The one with an outrage inspired body.
Neither are clones of the trx-1 or kyosho triumph. There’s only very superficial similarities.

Re: Flying Point Ena 3D
How do the wheels fit on this: standard cros-pin and 12mm hex, or something which could easily be converted to that?
