Re: Camshaft's 6010
I find the original body paint rather charming; I do plan on buying another body eventually. This will probably be a project for next winter.

Re: JRX PRO - Basket case to restored runner.
Darryn, she looks a treat indeed. I've decided on a JRX2 as my next project as soon as the Team Car's done.
Just an FYI, you column in the back of R/C Car is the only reason I buy a copy every month. Those articles are why I got into collecting and restoring vintage R/C.

Wow, I'm loving the five spokes as well as the jellybeans. Those would look absolutely dynamite with a gold anodized finish.

I wasn’t expecting any new parts this week, and I certainly didn’t buy any, but I did do something I’ve bee...

My brother-in-law has one of these in his mom's attic, I wonder if it's worth restoring? It has the Grasshopper-style livery (smaller inset photo in the above ad).

Re: Crazy auction
As far as noseplates, does that apply only to the gold chassis ones? I'm having a heck of a time finding the right one for my car. And I'm still too afraid to look for black anodized shock caps... there's 2 or 3 nip black buggy nose plates on ebay right now. as for black aluminum shock caps...........
