Re: help with mip sp45 4x4 kit and chassis modded for sp2
Awesome post! Thank you Hoop! This probably just adds to the mystery and doesn’t solve it. I have been researching as much as I can, the post issue, on RC10 talk. I located the SP-2 instructions as went back and forth through the pictures and instructions. The holes look pretty close. It just looked...

RIP Daryl!
Having the opportunity to buy several kits from you in person, which I enjoyed so much as a kid in the 1980s was such an honor.

Re: Really sad news....
I’m in shock hearing this and imagining how devastating this must be for Jim’s family. My thoughts and prayers are with Jim’s son and family. Jim was truly an icon on this site. Back in ‘07 when I joined, I remember seeing his builds as “untouchable” on the highest level of detail. Because of Jim, I...

Re: Is anyone still playing with or sitting on an RC10 Class
I'm a little surprised you guys don't have more. I think I got a little too excited AE was doing a re-release, since it's not a usual practice of theirs. Their display at the Long Beach Convention Center w Don playing security and Eustace Moore visiting it w enthusiasm also made the re-release somet...

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
I Inquired last week about the kit being discont when requesting a couple new top shafts.
The response I got was. ... "I don't know but we (Associated) just ordered 380 more." So the clear out and re run sounds like the best guess.

Re: Part Differences - Old vs. New
does anyone else find it offensive that most of the associated parts that are still available are now being made in china? we must have too many jobs here in the U.S.A. Nope. Most of us are aware Associated is owned by Thunder Tiger in China. So with the efficiencies of cheaper production costs.......

I believe the gears should be dry. The only grease should be in the differential gear where the diff balls are.

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
I love it! Every time I order kits from Tower the boxes are crushed on either side. So irritating! Oh yeah, and the clear seals on the top of the box are broke too. At least the main seal was intact. Interesting! I'm too scared to open any of the #6001s I own based on others experiences. A drive to ...

Re: 3d printed 4-10
Curious question....
Where's the mipet gear at? The drawing picture shows what looks like a spur gear attached to the outdrive? I'm thinking clearnce issues above everything behind the front gearbox.......servo, battery, etc.
Everything looks like its coming along great though.

Re: Everybody do this ASAP!!!
That's some insight into their rear arm sales. Must sell a considerable amount to go to lengths of re manufacturing hinge pins.
I'm still not holding my breath on them reproducing anything else.

Re: #6002 - RC10 Worlds Car Kit
Did someone say that he out has no wheels and tires in the box?
Tim can you confirm this?
Picture in the box shows the car w/ wheels. In the theme of this being a mostly retro kit I'd expect the kit to at least come with as many pieces as what came in the box back in the 90s.
