The gear is 48 pitch. The GT came with 32 pitch gears. I am currently running a 21/60 combo. The equivalent size 48-pitch spur is 90T and I'd have to change my pinion to a 32T to mesh.

Well guys, I've run about 20-30 more packs (2S and 3S mixed) through the car. I seem to finally have settled on a solution. I had to rebuild the diff about 3 more times (including sanding the diff rings and thrust rings), and it would keep getting crunchy after a very short time. In order to keep it...

One more observation.

When i rebuilt it last time I sanded the diff rings with 600 grit on both sides. Now I noticed the back side (against the outdrive) was shiny and polished, and there was a groove in the diff ring. Looks like it was slipping on that surface. Anyone heard of that?
