Re: ??? Hydrographics ???
I've tried a new film, and I really like it. It's on Sabulatech's RC10 6 gear clear gear cover. A very nice, strong cover that fits my motor mount perfectly. Dipped on the inside, the film is backed with Createx iridescent green and then white. Not quite as reflective as the metal flake on the blue ...

Re: Protoform Losi XX - Ripper X Body
Anything like this?
It is on Worthpoint. I know nothing about Worthpoint but the image is shown there.
It also says it is P/N 1507.
There is also a Protoform RC Car Parts #1503 The Ripper Off Road Clear Plastic Body w' Decals on Fleabay.

Been following along Nomad. I really like your plan.
If I asked nicely would you share the bender's identity, please?
I have a Cox Cucaracha slot car that needs a roll bar badly.

Re: Old Novak receiver
Thanks for all the replies. Phin I think you nailed it. Mystery solved. I honestly searched for quite a while and could not find it  It appears as the "2 channel receiver" is the match. The price list also shows a ner 2 (no 'S) . That must be the part's name. So BradS you were also c...

Old Novak receiver
I thought I might try to re-create the original label but can't seem to find any images.
I'd also like to see if it still functions.
This was my first receiver from my RC10.
Any help would be appreciated!

Re: RC10 CE Restoration
I have always used a high quality servo tape on my battery cups.
Clean both surfaces very well and use a full coverage on the tape. 3m VHB is supposed to be the best.
Others may not trust it but I do. No holes and no modifications.

That's quite a nice find emmARRpee!
Looks like she will clean up nicely.
Some dissambly, a toothbrush, simple green or mild soap of you choice, some elbo grease and it looks like you will have a great start.

A quick update for any that might try to "dip". I recently purchased new film that I thought I might try. The images on ebay looked like something I might try. After I got the film ready to dip I noticed the side that would show through the lexan was actually a silver ( sometimes it is whi...

I guess the third time is the charm. After two bad Ebay purchases I scored two pair of pristine swing arms!
