Re: 1st real run, broke it!

FWIW RPM parts withstand more abuse, but the problem is parts availability.

Re: My Andy's Build

You're welcome. I'm glad I could get you those two parts. I look forward to seeing a painted body on it.

I truly appreciate all of the deals we've made over the past couple of months.

Re: Adam Rayls' RC10T2 racer

I sent him a FB message just now since I am also interested in the progress. He was very helpful when I had questions about his B2 Vonats buggy.

Re: My Andy's Build

That appears to be the truck chassis. What else are you planning to do with it?

Re: Finally Built a Stock 10T

Thanks guys. Good info Jeff. I wasn't sure on the dogbone/universal/cvd thing either. I went with the dog bones, but I have the other 2 options laying on my table as well. I thought the cvd's might be aftermarket, possibly MIP, so decided to save them for a more "non stock" build. Box art...

Does anyone know of a compatible replacement for the elusive AYK Viper chain?

This thread is by far the most comprehensive and epic thread I've come across. Did Hightower ever reveal anything about the car?

Re: RC10T Specific Parts

I have some spare parts, which I have identified as RC10T parts, I have the body mounts, front arm mount, and I have a set of wide front arms. Besides these, am I missing anything else to put together a Truck? Id love to put together a nice custom 4WD RC10T Yes, you are missing 98% of the other par...

Re: Composite Craft RC10T #2

The Tekin Pro Tempfet you have is the ESC600 Pro XT and was released in 1988, so it's just a tad early for the 10T. The ESC300 (4-wire) was my first racing ESC that I bought in 1990.

For your 10T build I would use the G12-C.

Re: My first RC10

Is that donut icing leaking out of the esc battery connector? You may want to make sure both pins are seated properly. Enjoy the car. :D

Re: Composite Craft RC10T #2

FWIW I think that motor is a tad new for your build. A Reedy Mr series would work well.

Have you tried sourcing some 3-piece rear wheels to match your fronts?
