I don't think I've ever seen one of these. Looks to be a budget stadium truck though with a S&K esc. Neat piece of Sid & Ken history.

Re: Hydra-drive transplanting
Yes, but you'll need the appropriate hydra shaft for the trannies that you mentioned. Depending on the shaft used you may or may not be able to use the existing slipper backing plate.

Re: Magnum JR FP-2PBKA
I am trying to date my early 2PBKA and stumbled upon this thread. Since it has a R112JE rx I'd say it's the early 90's and probably 1991. Mine is earlier with a R102JE rx, which I assume is late 80's and probably 88/89.

Re: Team Checkpoint motor help
Here's a late PII with silver vein or silver-vane finish on the can. Was the Vintage Electronics forum not around 10 years ago?

Re: Dating a Lightspeed motor
I have a couple of Lightspeed motors that came in a group buy. One is Fort Worth labelled, the other has no city designation. The Fort Worth has an Air Supply endbell, the other doesn't. The motor on the left without city/state is very early as in late 80's. It looks like an early Yokomo dry mag te...

My attempt at dry humor failed. I left off the wink emoji and part of my post didn't submit. I also didn't understand your previous post. It seemed like a good way to mess up a diff tube by unnecessary removal and reinstallation of an already correctly installed gear. Removing a rh diff p...

Re: RPM molded chassis build
Lovely MIP shock bodies. :) With the RPM rear shock tower the Losi Jrx Pro SE body is ideal. With a standard RC10 tower you can run other bodies even though they are a tad wider. I like the look of chopping the rear of the body off after the tower. For the front you really need to cut quite a bit to...

As of last year… “Yes,we do still have both the silver and yellow springs. The springs are $5 per pair (either color choice), plus $5 shipping for up to 10 pairs shipped anywhere in the USA.” “We are offering those motor plates for $10 each, plus $3 shipping for up to 6 motor guards shipped anywhere...

Re: Customs Delay?
I couple of months ago I had a few vintage motors shipped via standard USPS (not priority) from CN to TX, and it took 1 week to arrive. Call USPS to start a lost pkg claim.

Re: RCCA carbon chassis RC10 build
Those rear shock caps look like they are hard ano and match the shock bodies. The DA graphite battery brace is really unique, and I think that's the first time that I have seen one. Thanks for sharing a piece of RC history.
