Re: Traxxas Bullet transmission case options
I definitely plan to keep this one going klavy69, at least for a few runs before the eventual shelf. I have a few other projects going at the same time as well. My thinking is while restoring one and I come to a parts snag, I move it aside and and work on another. Thanks for the info on the rear hub...

Re: Traxxas Bullet transmission case options
jwscab Would you happen to know what rear hubs & bearings will work on this? I really thought I ordered everything I needed but the donor car was especially rough...I should have taken pics, it was truly nasty and smelled of cat piss...! But it was all there. Its just now after cleaning it compl...

Re: Traxxas Bullet transmission case options
I let the cases soak in the undiluted Simple Green bath for a few days & after some scrubbing and scraping they came out pretty nice & relatively new looking. Thanks for letting me know of the black case that came up but I think this one will do just fine now. I started to assemble the car n...

Re: brushed crawler motor to put in RC for Kids
I made the mistake of buying my 5 year old son a Turnigy Rally Extreme 1/16 scale brushless car thinking it would be a good entry level car. It was like $100 all told from hobby king at the time. Out of the box the esc was dead so I had a mamba micro that I swapped in and we went outside to try it. ...

Traxxas Bullet transmission case options
I'm building a Bullet from the ground up and was lucky enough to source almost everything minus the transmission cases. I bought perhaps the roughest Bullet ever from eBay as a guide(im still itchy from cleaning it) for this and the cases are just really nasty. Are there any others that will work? I...

Pics or it didn't happen is something I'd say
But you got it, bare with me it'll take a while as things have gotten out of hand and spread to a storage unit, mothers attic ,mother in laws garage and my shop.
I'll start with what I have at my house right now.
Enjoy!

Re: Early RC10 Restomod Runner
Actually it is a 5800kv motor, sensored as well & Very fast at that. It's a shame Novak went out of business when they did. I took to collecting whatever I could from them recently, mostly the early brushless stuff that I use on older cars. They're pretty inexpensive now. I'd take an old Novak c...

Re: Servo Survey
Im a bit late to the party but if I may? Ace 1313 Digital- The last servo you'll ever have to buy for about $100 I use these in all my better cars/ aluminum case and metal gears very strong and versatile. Also any of the JR's or Savox or the cheap & reliable Hitec HS645MG- surprisingly strong &a...

Re: ** What are you looking for? **
A complete Ten4 set up. All of the odds & ends needed to complete it minus the donor car & nose plate.
I do realize there are a lot of parts & it wont be cheap.

Re: Tekno MT410 stunt truck
You are correct sir,This is more of a truggy with large wheels and a short wheelbase. Whereas a cold buster would be more of a traditional monster truck. There are just too many sizes and models now I guess . So blanket terms are being used to classify the various vehicles and this one happens to fa...

Tekno MT410 stunt truck
By far my favorite of all the newer vehicles today are the monster trucks as I am not a racer but rather an abuser. I recently completed building this one & had a chance to drive it earlier this week. I'm currently running a Mamba Monster motor & esc but I have a Tekin RX8 gen 2 combo that w...
