Basher67's Fresh Painted 10T Body
I've been trying to increase my painting skills (or lack of). This is my latest attempt. At five colors, it's the most different paints I've used on one body---2 rattle cans and 3 with airbrush. I saw a 10T online that was similar to this and just loved it so I did my best to reproduce it. Pretty ha...

Re: Need a Little help with RC10 Body Identification
That's what I was kinda leaning toward. I may paint one "box art" style and put it on my shelfer in place of the modern protech thats on it now. Is there a difference between the edinger and cadillac bodies? I was looking in the posts for info and the only mention I found was about the dri...

Need a Little help with RC10 Body Identification
I picked up two of these bodies with a collection I bought recently and didn't think much about them. I thought "big deal, 6160 protech bodies" there is a never ending supply on ebay for around $15 right? So today I pulled one out (they were carefully wrapped in tissue paper) for a street ...

Re: I'd love a Clodbuster one day.....
I recently picked up some parts trucks and a sassy chassis and finally got down to building one. Like everyone says--you have to have one of these. They are way too much fun. Something about the 4 wheel steering multiplies the fun factor. Half the fun was designing and fabricating my own suspension....

Re: Craiglist rc parts/cars posts, hilarity thread
This has got to be one of the best I've seen in a while. Where do I start. It's listed as a Tamiya buggy even though he could have just read the top of the car to see what it was. The ad goes on to explain how this car is so great because the front and rear of the car are made of cast iron and how i...

Wow! Those are really cool. It's amazing that some of this stuff is still out there new in the box after all these years.

Re: Motor Choice for 10L Graphite
I'm just messin' with you . I really appreciate your input on this. I have a proline Bud Light Jaguar XJR body that was originally produced by MRP I believe in '91. That should make the whole car in the '89-'91 range which I think is perfect.

Re: Motor Choice for 10L Graphite
   You're killing me Phin. After you told me I needed a better esc than the T-1x, I finally found the novak timeline and was thinking the 410-M1c was the best choice. I have an early version (no SPF) in beautiful condition. This came out in 1990 and was the "world champion" ...

Re: Motor Choice for 10L Graphite
I have plenty of other options on hand as far as esc's. I have a Novak 1X, 4, T-4, 410-M5, 410-MXc, 410-M1c, 410-M5, and a Hammer Pro. Also got a couple Tekins---a Speed Star and a TSC 410S. The only reason I used the T-1X is because it is the one in the pic of the car in the manual, but if there is...

Re: Motor Choice for 10L Graphite
I put the T-1x in it because it's the one that is shown in the manual. Anyone know what year the 10L graphite was released? I was pretty sure the 10L was released in '89 but wasn't sure about the graphite version. If the graphite didn't get released until early '90's then the Outlaw motor might not ...

Re: Motor Choice for 10L Graphite
That's what I was thinking too. I also have a near new B&R motor. I think it might be a super stock. I've looked through a few different vintage motor lists and they only have info on the brand, part#, # of turns, etc. Can't seem to find vintage motor list that shows any kind of timeline. Even a...

Re: Motor Choice for 10L Graphite
Checking old RCCA articles for clues is a good idea. I have a bunch of old brushed motors but it's hard to get a time line on them all.
