Re: ** What's Old is New Tech Thread **
At rest arms are level, front blue truck springs have the same rate as green buggy's (3,5 lb/in). But how much droop is too much?

Re: ** What's Old is New Tech Thread **
Hello, I'm building an oin and I don't know if I need some spacer in my shocks, and what spring to use.
Is there too much travel?

Re: My crappy Rc10-DS
Thanks guys. Good news, the DS is now painted. :D After long hesitations, between the Penske Sunoco livery and the infamous Goodies Speed Shop "Gulf" Camaro, I've changed my mind. After all, this a Rc10 "Graphite" DS so I've decided to make an interpretation of the original 1989 ...

Nobody else have massive play on the rear wheels due to ovalised bearing carriers?

Re: RE-RE RC10 Instruction Errors
I think they forget a step in the manual: Wheels/Tires and Body-Bag J-Step 9 The body is too narrow and will rub badly on the chassis, gently bend the edge of the chassis with a plastic hammer. TIP: Use painting tape to protect your chassis. http://imageshack.us/a/img138/3227/7w6f.jpg

Re: RE-RE RC10 Instruction Errors
put a spacer behind the lower shock mount. I did not notice that before, but I will add a spacer. Thanks! Six of one, half a dozen of the other, for the most part. The spacer on the lower mount puts more stress on the screw, and will lead to more flexing in the suspension overall, but you don't hav...

Re: Pretty lousy quality for $250.00
My two rear hub carriers have ovalized holes. The bearings are moving and in result the rear wheels have horrible play...feel like a tamiya car.
I just throw them away and replaced them with old new parts: no more play.![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)

Re: RE-RE RC10 Instruction Errors
Because they moved the arm mounts forward like the later kits, the bushing can be installed the way the later kits show as well. In the manual, they said to use the backward position of the mounts, I don't think you can use the forward position of the arm mounts, they have too much toe in: the arms...
