Re: My RC10 World's Re-Re Pre-Build Q's
Nothing fancy but I am super excited that my last major component has arrived! http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt64/jack376/IMG_20170105_192038896_HDR.jpg Nice choice! Did you go with the 17.5T motor? The XR10 esc has butter-smooth throttle and brake response. That particular esc can be programm...

Re: My RC10 World's Re-Re Pre-Build Q's
No worries bro. I can relate. :D On those SMC lipos...I'm not sure if they come with an adapter. I see that they offer a 5mm to 4mm adapter for their new 5mm inboard lipos. You might call or email SMC to find out exactly what you will need. They will get you all set up. I do know that my SMC 5000mAH...

Here's an example of the bullets...... top pic is bad, bottom is good. Thank you! This is very helpful. I've been trying to figure out the nomenclature when reading the description to the following battery (link as an example only): http://www.smc-racing.net/index.php?route=product/product&path...

Re: Hobbywing XERUN Justock Zero Spec esc + 17.5T 3650 G2 mo
Can you tell me where you got your G2 17/5T combo? I've only been able to find it (concretely) from HW direct. Most others, including Amain have the combo w/ the previous motor or do not concretely describe the motor as being the G2. I'm just trying to figure out the best place to purchase this com...

Re: Scr8p's "Team Car" Rere
I see that the gold pan nose plate has a few more holes in it, and I'm guessing that the classic steering assembly works with the gold nose plate? So that's what you would need to replicate a Team Car? I'm asking because I see that ae offers a black classic chassis, but no classic nose plate in bla...

Re: Where Do You Charge Your Lipos ?
I agree Todd, but I would rather lose a bunch of batts instead of a house. I understand the idea of it but Like I said earlier in this thread. I store mine inside on a concrete floor next to a concrete wall...so no house loss for me Dave but would definitely have some smoke damage in my unfinished ...

Thanks jwscab. I will definitely keep on looking. I'm getting a lot of eye training on this site almost everyday, lol.jwscab wrote:gotta keep looking they are out there. ebay will have shock sets you have to get to know the sizes by eye.

Sounds easy enough. Thanks GoMachV.GoMachV wrote:No, the classic rears are 1/4" and the worlds are 3/16".
Both can easily be swapped over using dogbones or cva's and proper bearings tho

Re: My RC10 World's Re-Re Pre-Build Q's
It looks like you've done your research and made great tire choices. For practice on the ball field, Pro-Line M3 Holeshot tires are a bit less costly than the other tire choices. The M3 compound is a soft compound, but not as soft as M4. So you should get a little more wear out of your tires. http:/...

Re: Scr8p's "Team Car" Rere
I've always wondered if the classic wheels and tires would be a direct swap onto the World's car. I'm just not sure if the axle sizes are the same. I'm interested to see your build as it progresses. Subscribed and bookmarked!

Re: Fresh Worlds build and a few questions
Very retro nice! 8) Thanks! I'm trying to find decent original vintage parts for it as a side hobby. I have a JConcepts Detonator body that I would like to paint in Cliff Lett's Moo theme. I'd really like to pick up a few more Turbo Mirage bodies just to paint in vintage themes just for show. I cou...
