Re: OUTLAWD's Re-Re WC Build

Your buggy looks great! Very clean lines on the paint. The water-effects look awesome. 8) Are you going to put any decals on it? Let me know how you like the Castle Sidewinder 4600kV system. I am interested in one myself.

Re: Fresh Worlds build and a few questions

I had the day off today, so I had time to take the World's car for a spin and take video of it. This is just out on the street in front of my house, but nonetheless it shows the speed of the Hobbywing XR10 17.5T combo, and the agile handling characteristics of the buggy. The video was taken on my ce...

Re: My RC10 World's Re-Re Pre-Build Q's

Well...Since I am (sort of) at a bump in the build I decided to order some hop ups! I ordered the RPM cups, Lunsford Punisher TI turnbuckles, their wrench and some weights to put in the nose area.... :D Those Punisher turnbuckles are really nice. 8) I will have to order a set soon. I didn't go with...

Re: Fresh Worlds build and a few questions

Nice job with this build. We don't mind seeing action shots on carpet, bring'em on. Thanks vintage AE. :D I start a new job on Monday, which is an advancement from my old job. It's on a 10-4 schedule with optional Fridays, so I will have more time for RC. 8) Can't wait to settle in, so I can get to...

Re: OUTLAWD's Re-Re WC Build

I really like the upgrades on your buggy. Especially the Custom Works rear shock tower with the B5M wing mount , and CF battery strap. 8) I've got to get a set of those Dirt Hawgs for bashing. They look like they'll last a while. I have heard that if you use Savox servos, they yield a very high amp ...

Re: Fresh Worlds build and a few questions

Very clean build. Have a chance to get it dirty yet? Not yet man. I had to wait until my vacation days at work were re-newed this January. Now that I have a few paid weeks off, the track I wanted to take it to just went from clay to carpet. There is another track a county over that is a fairly new ...

Re: Fresh Worlds build and a few questions

Looks great! Very nice to see finished projects...I'll get there eventually. :| Thanks man. No doubt you will. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on this board, and they've got some great advice and building tips to share. I had my roadblocks with my build as well. Getting through them, and le...

Re: My RC10 World's Re-Re Pre-Build Q's

I may be taking a shot in the dark here, but doesn't one of the slipper hubs have a notch in it so that it "keys" onto the top shaft? I don't remember if both slipper hubs have that key, or only one of them. You might re-check your slipper hubs, and see if one of them has a flat keyed area...

Re: Fresh Worlds build and a few questions

So I finally learned how to trim out a wing the right way. 8) I need to go over it with some scotch-brite to give it that dull (non-see-through) appearance. I also opted for the long whip antenna for a more vintage look. http://i1066.photobucket.com/albums/u419/rccarcrazy/15994905_10210205525392227_...

Re: My RC10 World's Re-Re Pre-Build Q's

My first few bodies were just one-color, but I got the window masks down pat, lol! It's amazing what a few finely placed decals can do for a body. It's all about having fun, and picking up skills along the way. If you need any body painting tips, I can be of assistance. I've been into airbrushing a ...

That's some great customer service! I'm looking forward to seeing you progress with your build. Have you decided on a theme for the body yet?

Re: My RC10 World's Re-Re Pre-Build Q's

Really glad AE included a few extra 6299 E-clips...I broke one and crossed my fingers that there were extras... I miss the paper roll e-clips Looking good so far. Thanks! Question for all.. Set screw 6951..Is that only meant to lock 6223 in place? This is step 2 on page 6 in manual. I am a bit unsu...

Re: Hobbywing XERUN Justock Zero Spec esc + 17.5T 3650 G2 mo

Can you tell me where you got your G2 17/5T combo? I've only been able to find it (concretely) from HW direct. Most others, including Amain have the combo w/ the previous motor or do not concretely describe the motor as being the G2. I'm just trying to figure out the best place to purchase this com...
